[ Childe listens with thinly veiled interest. The painting is flattering and, really, strokes his ego in a way few can match. There have been of course offerings to capture his likeness on canvas before, but for someone like Childe who became too restless when things were too quiet for too long, trying to persuade him to settle for how many hours it took to paint him was a downhill battle.
If Glenn could perhaps do it from memory, all the better. If not... well. Maybe Childe would acquiesce and try and settle with the promise of a spar after.
The other part that Glenn speaks of is interesting, as well. As a seasoned warrior he knows firsthand how dangerous it is not to be able to acknowledge the wounds you've sustained. Severed nerves, especially for a mortal that did not have the maniacal hand of Il Dottore to patch them up after, could spell the end of a career in adventuring.
Childe had not been careless enough to ever have any of his vital organs struck while fighting - even with the way he dressed; he's much too quick and the added benefit of a Hydro and Delusion went well with the years of combat experience he'd had - but even he knows he's not invincible. Perhaps that was one of the driving forces for him to seek more power, to grow stronger at every waking moment. Who knows. ]
That's fine. I'd hate to wind up killing one of my sparring partners, after all. If I ever inflict a blow on you that's life threatening, I'll be sure to let you know. I'm not that heartless with a friend. Take all the time you need.
[ Though when he thinks about it... perhaps he would be. He imagines it's entirely situational.
Pushing these thoughts out of his head, Childe will go to where the waterfall cascades down. He navigates the folds of his loaned kimono open, pushing it down to his waist not out of shyness but for practicality, and with a deep breath goes to seat himself under the rush of water.
Almost immediately it seeks to wash him away, but with a combination of his own body going taut and anchoring itself down and his vision manipulating the water to keep him in place, it's largely unsuccessful.
It becomes hard to hear each other over the roar of the rushing water, so he'll just look to Glenn and give him an okay sign with his hand. ]
