...Being pleasant is, if only a little, a partial mask that got glued to my face. But it's easier to keep myself in check if I'm calm.

...And it's easier to avoid causing harm to others. Or make friends and have some chance of keeping them.
But the self-depreciation is pretty much a constant these days, sorry. Maybe there's another Glenn in another loop that doesn't feel that way. Who's happy to be snarky and angry. Or maybe one day I'll remember more of how I used to be and act on that more.

[No, he's not going to ask how Childe is familiar with cooking person smell. But he looks at him, at his back in the firelight, and hums a little.
[Time to reach out and touch his lower back with a still-chilly fingertip. His touch is gentle, but alas, he still can't feel Childe at all. Not the texture of his body, nor the warmth, nor pressure. But it gives him some comfort to touch, and know that at least Childe can feel that he's there.
[It'll have to be enough. He doesn't let himself want for more - because if he does, the most he'll be able to feel is tonsil hockey and anything to do with his tentacles.
