I wouldn't say the purpose of the Kennel is fighting for fighting, but I'm sure there are plenty who will apply to work there for that purpose. With the exception of a few events, things have been rather peaceful here. There are many individuals unaccustomed to a less peaceful setting who could use the outlet and many who would like to continue to not only keep themselves sharp, but continue to further themselves. No place is peaceful all the time.

As for hair color impacting personality, I've heard quite a bit said about it. There's no scientific evidence about it, but I can't say I've met many calm, composed redheads if you catch my drift. Childe and Chuuya certainly don't fit that bill.
