Oh!

[Glenn's eyes search Bakugou's expression, his body language, as he processes the meaning and does his best to attribute it to Bakugou's indirect way of speaking earlier.

[His discomfort, however, is open enough that he notices.]

Thank you very much for clarifying, and I notice your difficulty and discomfort in doing so; I greatly appreciate your effort in the face of that. You're right in that I would definitely do the same for you. I hope to be good to you as well.

[He offers a small, shy smile.]

Because you are unfamiliar, I will explain further. There are people with neurotypicality - neuro as in the nervous system, and typical as in average or common. My mind is neuroatypical - atypical as in different, or irregular. I literally do not process the world in the same way as most people.

We are basically speaking the same language, but different dialects that neither of us understand without explanation.

My differences are not only what I mentioned before, but also that I have a difficult time pulling my attention away from things that have my intense focus.

A common difference is in this simple exchange: Person A says: "What are you playing on your gaming system?"

They are neurotypical, so they mean "I want to play with you, is that okay?"

The second neurotypical person will generally offer to play together.

But if you ask a neuroatypical person the first question, they will generally tell you all about the game they're playing, thinking that you're only interested intellectually.

And then, at times, the person asking the question will feel upset or angry for not understanding the question they were asking.

...Ah.

[Glenn blushes.]

I also, uh, "infodump" on people I like. Like this. Because if something interests me, I want to share it with them.
