Monsters and curses are arguably more rare for me, but I can imagine I won't find much that offends my senses too much. The prevalence of horrors humans think up for television alone helps, I suppose.
[when was the last time he smoked? Vael can't actually remember - probably years ago, before he was ever part of the magic troupe. definitely before becoming a vampire. it would have been easy, though, what with his power involving fire.
and truth be told - despite his strength at speaking to crowds, he's a bit at a loss for conversation topics. maybe the young man's visage is hitting him harder than expected, and there's still a thin thread of unease that he can't completely smooth out. it's diminishing the more they speak, but even still.]
