[Dohalim lets out a chuckle, shaking his head. he's pretty sure that no party could ever be too loud or rambunctious for him; despite a preference to be alone with his thoughts, he did also enjoy being surrounded by partygoers, if the energy called for it. but he also knows that he'll have to take a few days to himself just to regroup and unwind. but that's neither here or there, at the moment]
Not at all. I actually enjoy lively parties. I'd simply had too much to drink and needed a breath of fresh air.
[at least it isn't a complete lie. he really did have a lot to drink, and he really did want some fresh air. he does omit the fact that the idea of time resetting itself weighs heavily in his heart, but, at least, it means he'd managed to outrun the cranes, for the time being. he falls silent again, admittedly feeling more and more awkward as the minutes pass by. he idly glances at the couple in the distance; he has no right to scrutinize them, when he himself had done a lot worse in public. however, they just seem to add another level of awkwardness to this whole situation, and Dohalim has to wonder whether or not he should have just left Childe to his own thoughts.
he lets out a soft sigh, lifting his free hand, before quickly remembering that he doesn't have a wine glass occupying it. ah, there's that regret of not refilling on libations before coming out; he drops his hand gently onto the smooth surface of the railing as he glances back at Childe]
I hope I am not imposing. If I am, please, just say the word, and I'll leave.
