Hearing his name called would have pulled his attention but done nothing to get him to approach, not that the Harbinger chooses to voice any of this - if the samurai wants more attention from him he can work it out for himself, he has no intention of telling him how to go about it.
As the man turns he carefully runs his fingers through snow white hair, considering if he wants to do more than simply try and straighten it some with his hands alone. He could make less of it stick out easily enough, but with how unruly Kazuha's hair was perhaps he ought to do more than that.]
