They appear to cross paths again incidentally. Esen has been trying not to invade Ouyang's space, not reaching out and requesting his presence. It's been very difficult for him, trying to navigate this new place, the new revelations and not being able to reach out to the only person he knows who he's depended on for his whole life honestly.

He hesitates when he sees Ouyang, should he leave quietly or chance breaching the space that he's been giving him. His brows are furrowed as he tries to figure out what the best choice is here.

Of course, he stands out, so it would be easy for Ouyang to see him before he has a chance to make a decision either way.
