[Kazuha has learned over the course of their relationship that Scaramouche doesn't appear to notice interest in him beyond a transactional sense. Having to gotten to know him better, he hardly thinks it's due to a preference, and more that the immortal was absorbed in his own thoughts and goals. Was it that he only noticed those who had hunger in their eyes?
