Rude was quiet for a long while as he thought about that. If he had things his way, what would they look like? Honestly he didn't know. Some nights, when he was feeling foolish, he might have thought about what a future could look like for himself. But nothing about those daydreams were based in reality. That kind of future was not something he could have, nor really wanted. Marriage, kids, all those things normal people got to enjoy? Maybe he'd thought about that from time-to-time but never with any level of seriousness.

But that wasn't what Reno was asking of him, was it?

He wanted to know what it would look like for them. And really there was only one word that came to his mind. If things went the way he wanted? What would they look like?

"Happy." He said simply. "That's what I'd want. To be happy. Find peace. Live." Because had they really been living up until now? They'd done their best. Had watched their friends be struck down around them. Gone from the most hated to the most pitied. They had been struggling for so long. So maybe now he just wanted to find a way to be happy. A fresh start in a new world where no one knew them. Reno was doing well with that. While Rude didn't agree with his business venture he was happy to help as needed and encouraged Reno as best he could. Reno seemed happy.
