[ Cautioning that it could be poisonous is, yes, definitely a reasonable concern especially now that he's made skin contact (on his handsome face no less!), but the risk also makes it more enticing for Bricks to study now—the dose is what makes the poison, after all. This thing could very well be a medicine or antidote waiting to be discovered in another application.

As far as it moving, he spins on his heels and that should probably be a more immediate concern. Fat vines slowly writhe on the ground around them and the blooms bob and wiggle from the residual motion, turgid with sticky liquid.

Yes it looks, quite, uhm... [ Amorous. Like a salacious sapling. A penile petal. A fornicatious flora. Why is he thinking that. Why is this attractive fellow also thinking that? Is his mind in the gutter? Is he a pervert? ]

R-regardless, isn't that cause for enough fascination? [ Through both pure obstinance and genuine scientific curiosity Bricks continues, crouching down and daring to disturb one of the vines. It responds fairly curtly, slithering away from his hand and coiling in a few loops and moving closer to Aether. ]

Moving with this much energy is remarkable for a plant of this size; imagine the biomechanical processes that lay within it to facilitate such a thing without nerves nor muscles. Perhaps it's manipulating osmotic water pressure in its cells? Don't you want to see how it works?

[ If it's all the way up here in this sky garden it must be something special, right? ]
