[ It shouldn't have been this easy for Sephiroth to close his eyes against everything, but it was and he did. Aerith's touch, the weight of her in his lap, her words, all of it felt like absolution. He let out a breath and did not take another, just sat there empty of everything for a long moment as his traitorous heartbeat thudded in his ears.
