( It definitely wasn't what she had in mind when she heard party, though given Nippon's proclivities, maybe she shouldn't have been surprised by it. At least people are enjoying themselves? It certainly sounds that way, and Izumi doesn't need to glance back at the scene behind them to feel her face heating up or that heat stirring low in her belly, all too intense.
It would be fine, were it not so inconvenient.
There's a protectiveness built around all of Mankai, in a way. Izumi feels a fierceness towards the safety of the theatre and the people within it even outside of the context of this strange world and the stranger heat that's pulsed through her all month. But that fierceness is her role as a director, and has nothing to do with the way her hand slides over the back of his as it rests against her waist, or the slight lean of her weight towards him, little ways of placing a claim on her actor.
Sense tells her she should think twice about behaving this way, but that voice finds itself silenced by the urges pulsing through her. )
We'd have to get back to Tokyo... ( There's plenty of time to do that — the sun is still setting, after all — but that trip suddenly feels unbearably long now that Banri-kun is here, his body warm as it brushes against hers, his shoulder a tempting pillow for her head. ) Maybe we should find a hotel instead?
