[ Thankfully (though it's strange to be thankful for something like this) this isn't the first time he's been forgotten by someone important to him. He's felt this specific type of pain before - and it's duller this time, between her already remembering him and the lack of outside grief and despair making everything hurt that much more. He can keep his expression even, unchanging, as though she'd just told him about her weekend plans instead of admitting her memory's been tampered with in some mysterious, magical way.
