Wrapping his arms around Prompto, Noctis pulls him as close as possible. They didn't hug often, it was just something that had never been a part of their friendship - any of them - and Noctis wonders why, because he thinks he would have enjoyed a hug every now and then. So he's going to enjoy this one for a few seconds. And he's going to enjoy everything he can while they're in Nippon, especially all of the things they could never do in Lucis.

He knows not everything will be wonderful, that the future for both of them is uncertain and he'll likely have more nightmares, but he knows it's not going to be so bad with Prompto by his side.

"Thanks for coming in here earlier," he finally says, voice soft, arms still wrapped around Prompto. "Kinda looking forward to not waking up alone next time I have a nightmare."
