Ji Chong, himself, didn't play music. Not that he couldn't if he put his mind to it. Where others liked music he, himself, liked horseback riding, bows, and the sword. Something that he could, and would, teach anyone who wanted to learn. Even if he hadn't been there that long. As long as they were not harming others then he would have no problems teaching them.
