The dragon lifted his head then actually gave Baiyi a deep bow with his eyes closed. Moving out to the deeper parts of the water, he slipped inside to rest and meditate beneath the surface. Everything went still after that, almost like the dragon had never been there at all.

It was about an hour later when there was a stirring, the waters parting as Runyu in his human form with dragon features walked out of the lake. He looked a little drained and tired but at least calmed down.

Looking around, he spotted his guardian and turned to bow to him.

"Thank you."
