He flushed a bit, feeling somewhat embarrassed but still willing to press on. After all, he was a firm believer of changing things so that the children after him weren't used like he and others of his generation were by the elders. He meant it more towards war and growing up but this also worked. He wanted change and a better future. Part of accomplishing that was to push through uncomfortable things to help further that change.
