What Hythlodaeus might be feeling is, rather than a strange soul, the light-filled absence of one. Made of divine energy, he isn't some dark and hollow creature and his empathy is clearly intact, evident enough by the concern on his face as he meets Hythlodaeus' eyes and doesn't... quite answer.
"Strange?"
He'll help the man up if he wishes it, or stay simply crouched beside him if not, but he doesn't take his hand off of him either way.
"Not... strange, but I think I know what's wrong." Raphael frowns faintly, shaking his head. "If you can wield Sora magic, or have an affinity with the moon where you come from. It's... probably best if I keep my hand on you, if you don't mind."
