Will tightened his arm around Riley and stroked his hair with his free hand. He leaned closer, pressing a soft kiss to the scales alone his hairline.

"It's okay to be scared, love." Riley needed to know it was safe to feel whatever he was feeling with Will. And probably most of his found family, but Will could only speak with any confidence for himself.
