Well someone was clearly not caring about this punishment that Kinn was dishing out to him. And that someone was definitely Riley who was busy reaching for another pastry now that he'd finished the one in his hand. In fact, he was nice enough to break off a piece to offer it to Kinn!

"Here. Try this. It's so good!"

He knew Kinn well enough by now that he was the last person who would 'suffer' from his actions. It also helped that he was completely shameless at the same time. Probably more than a little helped actually.
