That pulled a broad grin from Cheng as he let Riley explain the mechanics of ice skating. He knew enough to not fall down so easily but having it explained like this helped him even more. He nodded with a hum of agreement, moving this way and that on the ice, still having a bit of a wobbly moment when he stopped. "The problem I have is turning. Stopping sometimes, too. But it is not too different with a sword in the air."

He dipped his head in acknowledgement for something else. "And...there is a time limit to learn and perfect this skill. The ice is here for only so long."
