Yu Mingye did not make this into a habit. When he'd played for Xingchen it had been because the man wanted to hear it. Had wanted to hear it since before Xingchen had found a way to give him back his arm. An arm that he was still strengthening. Xingchen had been the first to ever step into his personal space. That, in itself, had been weird to him. No one did that. Xiao Xingchen did.

Now? He was heading off towards the address that Runyu had given him. Just walk in. Who did that? He could easily slip through the shadows and in through the window. Instead, comes through the front door and shuts it behind him. Runyu was definitely courting danger allowing him just to walk right in like that, even if he's no danger to his newfound friend.

"Love what you did with the place," he teases.

The teasing was a surprise and he blinked. Get comfortable? Did he not seem that way? Tilting his head, Runyu pondered that a moment or so as he picked up his cup to hold it between his hands.

"Do I not seem comfortable?" he finally asked.

"You look like you're thinking too hard."

Whether the other was or not was a whole other story. However, he knows that when he, himself, thinks too much there's no way that he seems comfortable. Getting lost in his own mind can be pretty dangerous.

"Are you comfortable?"

Or maybe the quiet is a bit much for Mingye at the moment, but he could handle it, to a point.

"I apologize. I get lost in my own mind sometimes. It's something that's been easier of late since I've been so isolated."

Perhaps he simply wasn't used to company anymore. Being so around others. So involved. Runyu smiled a little but there was something sad to it. A sort of acceptance that said that his isolation was meant to be what it was.

"Are you hoping to make me comfortable?"
