I heard you like maids, so have another
⌛ Who: Ren Amamiya and you!
⌛ What: Minato asked Ren to help fill in for another maid in the maid cafe for a day. Maid shenanigans ensue.
⌛ When: September 7th
⌛ Where: Shinjuku
⌛ Warnings: N/A but will edit if needed.
Since arriving, Ren has been going from one side job to another. It wasn't that much different than when he used to do a bunch of part-time jobs for either cash, or to help fulfill Mementos requests. However, he doesn't have school to go to, so he really should get a steady job at some point.
When Minato called him earlier, he asked for his help. One of the maids at the maid cafe is sick, so is unable to get to work and they are short-staffed as a result. Ren had been wanting to cross-dress for a long time but was never allowed to, so of course he jumped at the chance to work there. Even if for only one day.
They were grateful for the help and even offered to help Ren put make-up on, but Ren had prepared and brought his own. They did let him borrow a wig though to give himself two braided pigtails. Once Ren finished putting make-up on and getting ready, he comes out in uniform, though leaving the glasses with his other clothes.
Lunch
At least there wasn't a breakfast shift, so that made things easier. He already knew about the menu since he was here last time as a customer, so he only needed to have a quick glance to refresh his memory before beginning.
When he does speak, he tries to lighten his voice, which is naturally deep, to try to make it more convincing. As well as sound cheery and bubbly. Thank goodness Ren can act.
"Welcome home, master/princess~! Please, right this way."
He'll guide your character to wherever is available for them to sit.
"What kind of drink would you like?"
Trouble
For the most part, the customers were fine and he managed to even fool a few guys in believing that he's a cute girl. Even if he's rather tall for one, and no boobs. However, that turned out to be a double edged sword, as one perverted guy kept giving him looks that made Ren's skin crawl but he did his best to keep calm, and any dirty comments Ren did his best to side-step without breaking character.
However it got worse when he was about to put down the food when the pervy customer slaps Ren's butt. Almost causing him to drop the plate.
"M-Master, please keep your hands to the table."
And then they started to get angry and Ren isn't sure what to do. He doesn't want to get in trouble, but he isn't sure what else to do. Sure he's dealt with bad customers before in the food industry, but this was something else.
Help?
Break
After dealing with a perverted customer, they let Ren take a break to recover. He's currently in the back, trying to rest his feet. As much as he's enjoying dressings as a woman, being in heels for a long time sucks. He feels bad for the other maids and Ann whenever she has to do photo shoots in heels.
He's sitting in a chair when he looks up. He doesn't bother with the fake maid voice and speaks normally. And he's not in the best of moods either.
"Sorry, it's employees only back here."
After Work
"Thank you and come again, master~!"
After that last customer, Ren was free to go. They gave Ren an offer for him to work full time like with Minato, but Ren wasn't sure. They understood and said their door was open if he changed his mind.
He changed back into his normal clothes. He didn't have enough energy to wash the make-up off, so he had to deal with getting locks from others. Which Ren ignored.
He's currently on his way to catch a train and he's real tired.

She seethes and stands up, reaching for the guy's wrist. She's a tall, strong girl, and it doesn't take a lot of energy to pick up the skinny poindexter and shake him like a rag. "Hey! Keep your sad little dick in your pants and leave the maids alone."
Kokoro looked down Ren and smiled apologetically, still clenching his groper's wrist in one hand. "Are you OK?"

It takes Ren a second to recover and he smiles and makes a slight polite bow, slightly lifting the side of his skirt.
"Yes I'm alright, princess. Thank you for the rescue."
The commotion causes the other maids to show up, even the owner who talks to the other Amamiya.
"You can let go now, we'll handle him from here. Thank you miss."
They will escort the man out once he is let go.

Her tone might've been as rough as the gyaru she often emulated, but she switches to a politer, kinder tone now to speak to him. "Oh good, I just can't stand to see perverts get away with things like that. And anyway, if you'd punched him, I would've just said my hand had slipped." Kokoro bowed slightly and takes her seat again.

That and again, not wanting to get fired.
Although now that he has no customer to serve at the moment, he's not sure if he should wait for the next one or take a break.
