[The redhead shudders through it as Kaeya continues stroking him, but gently pushes his hand away when the touch grows too intense for over-sensitised nerves. He huffs out a breath, opening his eyes and looking up just in time to see the other man lick his hand.

He shivers visibly. Gods.]

Mmn. [What does he say to that? He can pretend the flush on his face is down to the recent climax and not because Kaeya said that to him. Diluc sits up and rubs a hand over his shoulder, working his fingers over the electro-scar on the back of it.]

It's-- different, doing that with you. [He mutters, and the way his blush deepens is nothing to do with what he had just been feeling.] Better, I think.

[Kaeya only smiled down at Diluc knowingly, rather enjoying the flush on the redhead's face. He slipped out of the bed for a moment to grab a washcloth to dampen with water. He wiped off his stomach, rinsed the cloth, and then walked back to the bedroom to hand the cloth over to Diluc.]

Is your shoulder okay?

[He sat on the bed and smiled softly.]

You know that just inflated my ego a little. Just a little~

Hm? Mmn. It's fine.

[Sometimes he imagines it hurts. Sometimes he wakes up with a start in the middle of the night still feeling that arrow hitting his back and the pain that had spread out from it like a vice around his chest. It only ever lasts a moment and he still has no regrets about what he did that day, but it was a shade closer to death than he really would have liked to come.

He drops his hand from his shoulder and smiles weakly when Kaeya hands him the cloth. Quickly, he cleans himself up and passes it back, then drops back onto the bed with a sigh.]

Kae, would you stay here with me tonight?

[Though they had agreed to sleep separately for a while just so they could feel things out, he... just wants to be a little selfish right now.]

[He folded up the cloth, huffing lightly through his nose at that question.]

Like I would say no. Especially not after tonight... I'm always a bother when it comes to the storm after all. [He stood up again so he could toss the cloth into the laundry bin.] It's the least I could do.

[He left the room briefly and then returned, tying up his shirt just before he climbed onto the bed.]

That isn't why I want you to stay here.

[He straightens up his own clothes while Kaeya is gone, re-tying his shirt in time for him to be able to reach for the other man and snag his hand as he climbs onto the bed. Diluc pulls him in for a soft, gentle kiss and not for the first time finds himself in quiet wonderment that they have managed to reach this point.

While he would normally choose to be the one to tuck Kaeya in against him, this time he leans up against the other's side and rests his arm almost hesitantly over his chest.]

I think I'd just... like the company.

Oh.

[He supposed he should have realized that. It really was amazing how far they had gotten with this relationship. He thread his fingers lightly into the red mass of hair, it was still a bit sleep tangled so he didn't brush through them too much. It was going to snag no matter how gentle he was.

His other hand reached up to hesitantly rest over Diluc's.]

Then I'll stay. I like your company too.

[His fingers twitch slightly under Kaeya's touch and he moves his hand to hold the other man's, clasping it gently. He shuts his eyes, letting the sound of the heart beating under his ear fill his head, and he feels...

Gods, he feels so at peace.]

Mm.

[He huffs out a sigh and relaxes against Kaeya's side, just letting himself be like this... for once.]
