Despite all the money he's saved up, Wei Wuxian had very little at the dorm. Some clothes, his dizi. He mostly spends his money on dining out in Nippon and pretty robes to peel out of by night at Sakuranbo. So there's not much he's bringinto Lan Wangji's home. A couple of boxes, at most (he does have a lot of clothes!).

"Lan Zhan~ Where should I put these?"

Lan Wangji is much the same when it comes to belongings. He moved not far from his brother and he has spent his time setting up the apartment he fully intends on sharing with his Wei Ying. And the rabbits. When Wei Ying arrives, he will see the bunnies enjoying their grass and hay.

"Wei Ying..." he goes to the other man without thinking, taking the boxes from his arms and setting them aside. Then he welcomes his lover with a soft kiss.

A soft kiss never stays that way. Wei Wuxian, ever the flirt, always presses for just a little more, sidling in a little closer to press himself flush against Wangji. His arms slip around the taller man's waist as he presses for a deeper kiss.

He can't help his automatic response either, his arms tightening around his Wei Ying and kissing him like the world is ending. His lips part and he tastes his beloved, losing himself in him. Wei Ying is his everything.

It's so easy to lose himself in Lan Zhan, in that heat that's for him and no one else. But he does, eventually, pull away to breathe. He smiles warmly up at Wangji and then nestles close to his chest.

"Is it just us here?"

Breath seems highly overrated and Wangji is prepared to argue for continuous kisses! Thankfully, for what logic still exists in his brain, Wei Ying distracts him with that beautiful smile. Nuzzling their cheeks together, he hums.

"Just us."

His hands move over Wei Ying's back, admiring him, memorizing him. He's here.

A sly grin spreads over his lips and he leans in to return Lan Zhan's affection. Then he leans back in Lan Wangji's arms and peers up him with a bright expression. It goes thoughtful after a moment and Wei Wuxian sighs softly.

"Lan Zhan, do you ever think about just running away from everything to live in a little homestead somewhere?"

He stays close, basking in that grin and waiting, tenderly, for his Wei Ying to voice his thoughts. Wangji would wait a thousand years happily if his arms can remain around his beloved.

"Running...away?" he repeats quizzically, "With Wei Ying?"

If so...

"Yes."

"I feel like, being here, we already have, in a way." Maybe not intentionally. It may not be the perfect little homestead Wei Wuxian imagined, but there were none of the conflicts of their world, no cultivational politics. No expectations except the ones they brought with them.
