⌛ Warnings: Gaura has face blindness so if your character has met him before and he doesn't recognize them immediately that will be why!

I. Arukibake

While wandering around to try to get to know his surroundings better, Gaura had noticed the little creatures were following him. However, their presence didn't bother him since they seemed harmless. Though since they'd started following him he'd been given many offers of food and comfort. It was strange honestly. Confusing. But now he had an armful of food that he'd been given which made handling his device a challenge.

Sure that he'd made a wrong turn somewhere, he paused to try to handle the abundance of food he held, the little creatures gathered around his feed to gaze up at him. More coming as he thought about how nice it would be to share all this food with someone but didn't have any of his new friends near him.

"Do you eat, little ones? I can't tell..." he murmured with a soft sigh.

II. Sarusawa Pond

Finding the pond had honestly been an accident. However, he couldn't say that he had any regrets. The water was so much like glass that he was able to see every star reflected in it. Sitting next to the pond, he brought out the instrument that he'd purchased at a stall and started to figure out how to play the bamboo flute. It took a little bit of time but soon he was messing around with the sound to create a lovely melody.

Unaware of any company he might lured over with the music, he kept his eyes closed while he played, at peace in the shadows of the night with just the stars to light the world around him.

III. Meteor Shower

Never before had he seen anything so beautiful. With all the lights out the sky was so clear and every star that fell brought a gasp from his lips. Gaura couldn't stop smiling as he gazed at the wonderful rainbow tails of some that fell. Though whispers of wishes could be heard around him he didn't make a wish himself. He wasn't even sure what he would wish for in the first place except for the happiness of everyone that he'd met here so far.

Perhaps he should call one of them to join him. Henry in particular would probably find wonder in the magic of the rainbow tails. But he didn't want to bother any of them in case they were busy. He could always tell them about it later if need be. They would like hearing the story, of that he was certain.

Reaching up a hand, he pretended like he could catch one, even though he knew how impossible that was. "...beautiful..."

He was so sure he was in love with Henry already. Him saying such things with that tone of voice? It convinced him. Yet he was scared to say it for fear that it was too soon. They'd just started dating that night.

Okay, so they'd also had sex for the first time too, but that somehow didn't seem as scary as admitting love when he wasn't sure if Henry was ready for that. Instead he smiled and went to rest his head against his shoulder. "Yes please. I want to do that with you."

Silver smiled and blew at the bubbles that remained on Gaura's head. They drifted off in fluffy chunks to rejoin the suds floating on the water's surface. He draped his arms around the other man and held him just a little tighter.

"I'll begin researching something for us to investigate tomorrow. Alright?"

Henry had a similar body type to him and yet he felt so strong in comparison when he had his arms around him. He loved how it felt, resting there against him while being held. Maybe one day they'd have an even bigger tub but this was fine for now.

"Something in the forests? Then we can walk through them looking for things about it..."

A bigger tub would be ideal for basking like this. And they'd have room for more bubbles!

Silver nodded. "The forests are always a good place to start."

"They're really beautiful too. Sometimes I like to go there and just sit under a tree to have a snack after I work."

To rest there a moment before going home to Henry. Someone who was now even more his home than ever before. He brought his fingers up to play with Henry's curls. "It'll be nice going there with you."

A soft hum sounds and Silver lets his eyes fall closed. He liked the feel of Gaura's fingers (or hands) in his hair. That was one perk to having curls: people certainly enjoyed putting their hands in them.

"I love the woods," he mused as if to say he enjoyed Gaura spending time there. "It's such an exciting, yet calming place."

Continuing to play with those curls, he admired how soft they felt. He could get used to this. Being able to touch Henry so freely to do things like play with his hair. It made him smile a little more as he watched the darkness move over his pale fingers.

"They're so wild and free. It's beautiful. It's so unlike a city where there's so many rules guiding everyone."

"Yes," Silver mused, sounding almost sleepy. It was so relaxing in the water with Gaura's fingers playing through his hair. He's so glad the night went as it did because it led to them being together like this now. A smile tugged his lips and he sighed happily.

"It's nothing like what people can create."

Gaura leaned in so he could give Henry a slow kiss. Just because but also to thank him for just being himself. For thinking like he did and being open to sharing those thoughts with him. It made him feel so comfortable to be with him because he could almost always tell what he was thinking as a result.

It meant the world to him and somehow words didn't seem enough to express that.

"Mm," Silver hummed into the kiss. His fingers traced meaningless patterns across Gaura's skin. He savored the softness of it, the extra warmth from the bathwater, and just, ah! everything. Having him close was a comfort and it banished all the loneliness Silver felt since arriving in Nippon. It wasn't hard for him to be a little more forward with his thought to ensure Gaura understood him.

He pressed another quick kiss to Gaura's lips before stifling a yawn. "I think I could fall asleep in here."

"Maybe we should get out and go to bed. Where we won't get cold when the water cools."

Gaura smiled at him fondly, not really wanting to get up at all. But he understood that it was something they'd probably have to do. Besides, then they could be tucked under the covers together. Safe and warm in each others arms for the night.

"Mm, that might be a good idea," he mused. While he was perfectly happy to stay where he was, Gaura was right about the water getting cold. And they'd get pruney and no one wants that!

Silver groaned quietly and shifted so they could get out of the suds. He was careful so Gaura had a chance to move before he reached for towels to dry them off. Sleepiness was settling in and Silver was looking forward to curling up with his new lover.

Gently spilling water over them, he made sure they were free of bubbles as they got out. Getting to see Henry naked again, knowing he'd been sitting on him only a moment ago, made him blush and bite his lip as he smiled. But he soon followed after him so he could take a towel to gently pat Henry dry.

"Your hair got a little wet from my hands. Sorry." His smile said he wasn't that sorry.

"That's alright. I hardly think I'll catch my death from it," he answered with a chuckle.

Once they were both dry, Silver took Gaura's hand and led him back to what was essentially their bedroom. It felt good to think of it that way officially. He poked around to find where all their night clothes had landed and handed Gaura his. Just in case he wanted them. Silver? He was at least putting his britches back on.

Gaura didn't mind if they'd gone to bed naked but he at least put his underwear on before getting in bed. He was too tired to keep standing any longer. Far too eager to curl up in those warm arms instead.

Pushing the blankets back, he made sure Henry had room to get in before moving to curl up with him.

And in he practically fell, also feeling the fatigue of the late hour and all that had happened. But he turned on one side and held open his arms to invite Gaura to get comfortable within them. Once Gaura was settled, Silver shifted to pull the blankets up around them and pressed one last, sleepy kiss to his lips.

"Good night."

"Good night, Henry," he murmured against his lips before settling to close his eyes. He felt so safe in that moment. Happy. It was like everything that was supposed to happen had that night.

He had the most beautiful dreams that night for that very reason...
