Open Catch-All (TDM Prompts)
⌛ Who: Runyu and the people who come across him
⌛ What: TDM prompts
⌛ When: Beginning of June
⌛ Where: Various locations
⌛ Warnings: Sexy things are happening in the Kexing thread now~
I. Starry Night - Pond
Times like this were peaceful for him. When he could stand at the edge of a pond like this and see the stars in the sky as well as the reflection of the water. It reminded him so much of quieter times before everything had changed in his life. When he was just the Night Immortal with his Dream Beast at his side. Before all the pain and suffering...so much caused by his own hand.
Embracing his element, he stepped forth onto the water, walking across the surface with only soft ripples following. Soon the dragon was several feet away from the shore and just looking up at the sky above him. He smiled softly as he did, a breeze softly stirring his hair.
Hearing someone behind him, he looked over his shoulder to see who had joined him.
II. Starry Night - Daytime Stalls
Curious about the stalls that appeared for the meteor shower, Runyu visited them during the day. The food looked good but he wasn't hungry and ignored it for the most part. The trinkets though? These had his attention. Little toys and hair pins and other accessories. He couldn't help but to smile as he looked them over, sometimes picking them up to inspect them before setting them aside.
It was like he was looking for just the right thing. Which was honestly true. He was looking for little gifts for his loved ones. Something special to give to them. They never asked for that but it still felt like something he wanted to do all the same.
Lifting up a pin, he hummed softly then looked at the person next to him. "What do you think?"
III. Starry Night - Meteor Shower
Once all the lights were out, he moved to where he could have a good view of the sky. The shower was stunning, much like the ones he would provide the Mortal Realm in the past. It brought a smile to his lips to watch it happen. "...beautiful."
Near him he heard whispers of which on the rainbow tails. For a second he considered it then shook is head as he looked to the sky again. There was nothing he wanted to wish for. Nothing that he felt he could deserve to wish for. It was better that all that remained in his own world. Unless he wanted to wish for Xufeng's happiness which he already knew his brother would have in the end with Jinmi and those beautiful children.
So, he was just content to watch instead. "I wonder who controls the night sky here..."

He knew he didn't have to explain himself. Runyu already realized he was the first person in Ouyang's life who saw him as more than a sexless thing or a tool to be used. Even as poorly as Ouyang responded to that first kiss, he knew then he had Runyu's respect. He knew after he had his patience. And his heart, which Ouyang values above all else.
Ouyang pulls back in Runyu's arms, just enough to look up at his taller lover with warmth in his eyes visible even in the darkness. "How else can I make you happy?" It's all he wanted.
no subject
"Just stay with me. Love me. That makes me happier than I've ever known. Truly so. There was a time I thought it was something else that would do it but now I know that it's this. You and Ye'er. You're the ones I want and you're the ones who make me so happy. You are my light in the darkness, Ya'er."
no subject
"That will be easy."
no subject
Letting the illusion fall, he moved them to the shore but kept himself holding Ouyang despite that. He was so handsome in this lighting that he just wanted to keep admiring him. Pulling him in, he gave him another kiss and smiled down at him. "I love you, Ya'er."

"In the Mongolian language, we say 'bi chamd khairtai.'
no subject
"Bi chamd khairtai," he repeated back to him to make sure he had it correct.
no subject
"It is said only when meant wholeheartedly."
no subject
"Bi chamd khairtai." He meant wholeheartedly. Always.
no subject
"I could be teaching you insults," he teased gently. It's clearly not an insult from the happiness it brings Ouyang.
no subject
No, he knew very well that this was no insult. Every word of this spoke of the depth of affection. It was a thing of his love's culture that mattered so much to him. He would not share that lightly.
no subject
"The most direct translation is 'I have love for you.'"
no subject
He knew that as a fact. At the time he'd been trying so hard not to scare him away but the moment their lips had touched he'd known there was that connection there. And he'd loved it and hoped to build the flames between them. To this day he was so happy it had worked.
no subject
"Though unexpected, I am glad you kissed me that day."
no subject
He would have preferred to do things differently but he could recognize a blessing when he saw one. It was nice. Wonderful even. And look at where they were now because of that moment. How could he be anything but grateful for it happening?
no subject
"Do you believe in fate?"
no subject
He knew that he'd fought it as well. Harder than anyone around. Yet, it was real and it would always fall into place as it was meant to. To fight it was to cause pain before it could happen as it was meant to anyway.
no subject
"Then you know this was meant to be."
no subject
Runyu smiled warmly at him then leaned in to kiss his temple. "Come. Let's go home."
