[Rude is not the only one who has aches and pains. The hot water helped him relax and despite it being questionable looking, Rufus doesn't care after a few minutes in the water. It's supposed to be good for him and after the last couple of years, he needed to be more careful with his health.

He looks up at Rude with amusement, moving aside so he could get in the water. He doesn't care about Rude seeing him undressed, at this point the Turks had seen him naked and he's not modest about it in the least.]

The hot springs? I think it has something to do with the thermal heat from the planet heating pockets of water but I'm not sure. Either way, it feels nice after a few minutes.

[Rude was quiet for a moment, thinking over his words for just a moment before he gave a little cough.]

I meant the... viscosity.

[Hot springs in general he understood, but how would could form that was so thick. And red, like blood. Luckily the texture was thicker than blood otherwise sitting in the spring would be just a little too much, even for it's healing effects.]

The heat is good, though. I could get used to this.

I could as well. We never really had oppoertunites like this before back home, did we?

[Which makes getting used to life in Nippon surreal at times. Not having a schedule, endless meetings. If it wasn't the paperwork for Reno's business, Rufus would feel even more at odds with things.]

We should get a hot tub or something for Neo-Midgar, this is really nice.

[Sitting in a hot spring with Rufus Shinra? No, no Rude had never had that particular honour before. And would never have believed he ever would. Until now. It was strange and a little crazy, but Rude was beginning to get used to it. He had decided to let most of the strangeness just wash over him. If he focused on it too much he really might just lose his mind.]

We never did.

It would take work, but we could.

I'll have to think on it, I'm sure we could come up with something and find what we need to make it happen.

[Rufus was learning to go along with the surrealness of everything now. But as strange as everything is, Rufus is enjoying living like a commoner after what he had experienced over the last couple of years.

He survived so he's going to make the most of this. He looks at Rude with curiosity, head tilted slightly to the side as he leans against the back of the pool.]

What about you? I'm sure there are things that you've never gotten the chance to do or experience before we arrived here but have wanted to.

I'm doing them right now.

[Almost everything he had done thus far was something he had never done before. Things he had never even considered doing for the most part. Rude didn't fantasise about much, but having a home was one of those few things he had. And now he had one. A stable home. A comfortable bed. Someone to share it with...

Rude was a simple kind of man and his needs were few but almost all had been, or were being, met.]

Sitting in a hot tub with my boss? Check that off the bucket list.

Is that so? What else is on your bucket list?

[Rufus laughs at that, running a hand through his hair. He never really had a bucket list of his own since he had dedicated so much of his life trying to take his father's position and then focusing on getting through one day at a time.

Having a real future that he could plan for was something he was still adjusting to and he should really come up with a bucket list of his own sometime.]

It's a work in progress.

[The truth was he'd never had one before coming here. Maybe there were a few things he'd thought about in the dark of night when he was struggling to sleep. But he'd never really bothered with things like bucket lists because in his line of work he hadn't really expected to get to a 'ripe old age'.]

I add new things to it daily. Each new experience is something I don't have to add to the list.

[Especially things that were unexpected. Like sitting in a blood red hot spring with the Pres.]

I am thinking of a job, though. Since the Turks aren't needed here, Reno has his thing. The top of my bucket list if finding what my thing is.
