"I'm happy for that at least." Not that his parents fought but that they were at least able to show that their children were loved.

Aerith stepped back then, hands swinging down and behind her back as she did, a little embarrassed to have gotten so heated about something that had nothing to do with her. She just hadn't liked to see a friend hurt.

His smile firms and he reaches over to tug on a strand of hair, playful.

"None of that frown." he says fondly. "My family situation is... complicated. But I was loved, I promise. And I am happy here."

Her expression lightened with the light tug of her hair, a smile blossoming. "I'm glad you're happy here, Maglor." He deserved it, no matter if he felt he somehow didn't. "And I'm really glad I was able to meet you! You're a good friend." And Aerith deeply appreciated her friends and loved each of them dearly.

"And I hope I keep doing that! Now lets go inside, I'm treating you to tea!" She'd bought a lovely floral tea and she could do with a break. Maglor being there was the perfect excuse for one. So she dusted herself off and with a smile and a waving gesture directed Maglor into her house where they could sit, drink tea and chat about happier things and times.
