Yeah, it's a gun... You don't have guns on your world? I wonder why it wasn't a camera...

[Unless it was a gun that could take pictures? Probably not. But it really was pretty to look at. Prompto reached out and touched the cool metal of the barrel.]

Guess... guess that just leaves you then, huh? It feels really weird when it's coming out.

Not like this one. We have cannons on board ships and as part of fortifications, but for a ranged weapon you can carry around, our best option is a good crossbow.

As for why it wasn't a camera, well maybe it's telling you you're a bit braver than you think, Prompto darling. There's quite a bit more to you than just an adorable smile and pretty pictures, you know.

[A quick wink as he leave Prompto with that food for thought.]

I've never used a crossbow... That's be kinda cool!

[He was just thinking about how badass he'd look with a crossbow when Sylvando just has to go and throw some flattery his way. Prompto just didn't know how to handle compliments at all. His cheeks warmed up quite nicely and he really didn't know what to say.

Prompto didn't think himself brave at all and certainly nothing worth paying attention to. But it was nice to hear sometimes, even if he didn't entirely believe it.]

Uh.. y-yeah, okay umm... I can do this. [He took a breath, squared his shoulders and reached for his friends chest again, making that same grabbing motion and called out Sylvando's name with as much confidence as he could.]

[Sylv grins at having made Prompto blush. He'd meant every word, but he really just looks even more adorable like that.

And when Prompto calls his name this time, there's a flare of light around his hand on Sylv's chest. And suddenly he's reaching in and pulling out a long, slim sword with a fancy hilt. It'll feel much lighter in his hand than it logically should be, and he'll find he can wield it easily, even if he's never held a blade before.]

Well, that's certainly a strange sensation. But the results are lovely! I didn't know I had such a fabulous blade in me!

[Prompto was amazed when it actually worked! He pulled out a beautiful sword and held it in his hand, the look of shock on his face was almost comical!

Sylv speaking to him brought Prompto out of his shock and he looked at his friend, grinned and then offered the sword to him.]

I think it's a rapier? You wanna hold it? It's really pretty, Sylv.

[Sylv shakes his head.]

As I understand it, Prompto darling, we're meant to use each other's for the next portion of the test, not our own. Best get used to them now eh?
