"That would be wonderful, thank you." Rufus places his magi-comm device to the side table next to him. He had been checking it before Reno had distracted Dark Nation with food.

He's missed any kind of food that he can actually taste after being sick which includes his newly discovered like of street and junk food. But he's learned that fate has a particular sense of humor and it's best just to go along with things sometimes and today that includes meatballs.

"I think you could. She would love you if you did."

He didn't have an extra fork, so Reno just handed him the one he was using with a meatball on the end. Then, holding the bowl of what balls were left close to his chest, he knelt down in front of Dark Nation to have a serious discussion with her.

"Alright, here's the deal. I give you a meatball. You steal Prompto's underwear so we can put it on a chocobo. Got it?"

Rufus takes the fork but pauses as Reno kneels down to talk to Dark Nation whose attention is only on the bowl of meatballs, not at all listening to anything else.

"Reno, you are not having Dark Nation do your underwear heists. You do that yourself." Rufus takes a bite of the meatball, watching Dark Nation with amusement.

"You should probably give her a meatball before she decides to tackle you to get one, though."

"Come on, boss, let her live a little?"

But, with that, he plucked a meatball up and daintily tossed it. He didn't really want Dark Nation to eat out of his hand and potentially eat his hand.

"She'd be perfect for a heist."

The meatball vanishes almost as soon as it leaves Reno's hand, Dark Nation had plucked it out of the air with no hesitation. She turns her attention back to Reno, sniffing at him to see if she can get any more treats.

"I doubt our neighbors would be thrilled by a visit from her. And if she decides they are a threat, we would cease to have neighbors who are in one piece," Rufus points out with a smile, reaching out to pull her attention back to him, scratching behind her ears.

"I think she'll get plenty of chances to live it up here."

"Prompto seems like such an animal-lover, though..."

Although maybe Dark Nation would be a bit much to drop on him, and he didn't know about Prompto's roommate. "Y'know, almost our whole crew is together now. Even Dark Nation... It's kind of crazy, huh? Hopefully no one we don't want around shows up."

It'd be kind of awkward if the former president made an appearance.

Rufus makes a face, scratching behind Dark Nation's ears as soon as she settled down once more. The last thing he wanted was for his father, Hojo, or one of the other executives to appear here.

"Let's hope that doesn't happen. We are fortunate that Sephiroth doesn't seem to be a threat at the moment but someone like Hojo would cause real problems," he comments, frowning.

"But that's a bridge we hopefully never have to cross."
