He loved the way the three of them could be so relaxed and tease each other. He even found it endearing when he was on the receiving end of said teasing. There was a time, not so long ago, when any joke geared toward him would've earned his ire. But Runyu and Mingye are kind in their teasing, avoiding topics of a sensitive nature to their lover.

At the request, he looked up and nodded. "I would be honored."

Runyu gave him a quick kiss before summoning the box with the beads. Opening it up, he offered it to Ouyang for inspection. And to tell him where he wanted him for undoing the braids and weaving these into them.

"The seller included a hook for them as well to make it easier to thread the hair. I didn't know if that would aid you so I decided to leave it to your discretion."

[theatrics]

"Hmm," he hummed as he inspected the beads. They looked like good quality and the hook was definitely how Ouyang knew how to affix them. There was once a time when he did such a thing for another, but he was a slave then. Now, things were different. Runyu treated him as an equal, a partner in life. And Ouyang? He took great pleasure in helping his beloved with his hair and clothes and tasks around their home.

"Shall I do this now?"

"I would love that. Where would you like me to sit?"

In his other hand, he summoned a tray that would have oil and a come for Ouyang's needs since he knew the man would go to fetch those as well.

[theatrics]

"Wherever you're most comfortable." But preferably with a place Ouyang can stand behind him to affix the beads in his hair. "This will take some time. Do you have any pressing engagements?"

"I do. You."

Runyu gave him a warm smile then summoned himself a pillow so he could sit comfortably on the floor. It would be easier for his smaller love. The tools were given a stool and he made himself comfortable, sitting there with his eyes closed so that way Ouyang could do what he needed to. And take as long as he needed.
