October Catch-all --a little early.
⌛ Who: Jiang Cheng and Kinn Theerapanyakul
⌛ What: Neandering around town
⌛ When: Tail end of September but October (spoopy season)
⌛ Where: Wherever!
⌛ Warnings: TBD in threads
[Jiang Cheng, post qi deviation]
Once Cheng was strong enough to move around for more than ten minutes, he started trekking over to his friends houses to see how they were doing and to thank them for their help and apologize for causing so much trouble. With every friend he visited, he offered a fruit basket. If he thought cutting them would last, he would have.
He comes to the next home, takes a breath and then schools his face for a pleasant smile before knocking. All he had to do now was wait to be answered. Cheng fervently hoped that their relationship hadn't been ruined by the recent events.
[Jiang Cheng, Onsen]
Once he had recovered, he wanted to do ... something. Anything. He was tired of sitting in the house, tired of people hovering over him, worried about what he would do, if he would relapse. He just needed to get out of the house and relax a bit.
The best way he knew how was the Onsen. The incense was nice, the sound of water was soothing and Cheng was looking forward to relaxing, pampering himself with some expensive cleansers, and let the stress of the past three weeks drain out of him.
[Kinn, by the wharf]
Despite gathering evidence that overall, the place was relatively safe, Kinn still wanted to be prepared. So he made his way to the wharf where many had said one could find rare items, hoping he would find a seller who may have more than just information about firearms.
As he strolled through the allies, he walked with confidence as if he owned the place. His clothing was neat but not necessarily anything that would scream he was rich or in the wrong place. And as he walked, he considered the things he would change in the place. A floating market, some different variations in the market-maybe something foreign in terms of imports?
Evidently, he couldn't completely dismiss the mafia in him.

Honestly he felt closer to the Jiang leader than he ever had before. Something he was grateful for since he was his uncle due to who one of his fathers was. Sizhui nodded a little then had a sip of tea to allow him a moment to gather his thoughts some more.
"I hope to be able to have Jingyi feel good when we finally do this together. He means a lot to me." He looked down, cheeks flushed again. "I know I love him, Wanyin-qianbei. If I can take care of him for the rest of my life then I know I will be happy."

"Good," he answers with a hoarse voice, hoping it could be dismissed that he drank the tea too fast. "Be truthful, speak often, and be willing to be weak when he's strong and strong when he's weak, and I think you will have that happiness forever."

No one should ever have to go through that. Not ever.
His gaze lowered as he pondered what the appropriate action to take here was. They were hardly close. In fact, he'd say that his own boyfriend was closer to the man. Yet, this was his family. Very much so. And, well, in the end that won out more than anything.
Which meant the young Lan very suddenly got to his feet and moved around the table to hug the man. He wasn't sure if he would be pushed off or not but he had to... He had to at least try.

He shook the tension off of him, winding his arms around the other, and hid his face in Sizhui's shoulder. His own return embrace was practically all-encompassing without it suffocating. Cheng had meant it to be only for a few heartbeats but he couldn't find it in himself to let go.

His family was precious to him. More so because most of the family he'd had before was gone and had been forgotten by him for so long. If he could make up for that now with this family he had then he would. One hug at a time.

"You're a good man, Lan Sizhui. Thank you." He bowed his head a bit. "And thank you for the tea. I should get going." He could always contact Jingyi on the device.

"I'll let Jingyi know you were here when I see him. And thank you. For everything we talked about."

He leaves with his soul a little lighter with his next goal meaning to find his other nephew.

"Thank you kindly for your visit. I hope we will get to see you again soon."
