It's been difficult here in this world. She started off so fragile and afraid but gradually her confidence has been returning. The man in front of her has had a lot to do with that. Still, there's a balance she hasn't mastered between basking in the warmth of his protective nature and wanting to no longer appear weak and dependent on others.

"Because you were growling at the hospital and you just took their leader aside," she explains as patiently as she can. "Clearly you're upset and we haven't had a chance to talk about it until now."
