It takes them a little bit of time to track him down but once they do they slip up to him and wrap their arms around his waist. "Hello, Hades~" That singsongy tone of theirs can only mean they're up to no good.
no subject
"Oh, Azem. What did you do now?"
no subject
"Meeee? Why do you think I've done something? It's you that I'm more interested in, right now." Their grin grows wider.
no subject
no subject
"Well, we could do that... But I'm more interested in why I saw you rushing away from the hot springs last night."
no subject

"Oh, no, his mouth ended up much too busy with other things." They move away from him, waggling their brow. He might be able to better see a little hint of a bite peaking out from beneath the top of their robes.
no subject
"Well! I wasn't about to interrupt whatever you two were doing. You were obviously quite busy."
no subject
"So you did come back?" They raise a brow at him as they lean into personal space.

His thoughts whirl with the implication that Azem had lain with their own shard. Well, he supposes that in a sense they are different people...but in another sense, they aren't.
(He morosely wonders why the Warrior of Light is more eager or at least willing to entertain Azem over himself. Perhaps he really is beyond liking.)
no subject
After a moment they lean back and let out a heavy sigh. "Fine, I suppose I will just have to assume you've grown forgetful. Quite unlike you, I must say."
To be fair, Azem is completely unaware of that particular situation. Then again, even if they did know they would be unlikely to put much thought into it and continue to do things as they have.
no subject
He decides to divert the subject before they can dwell on it further.
"And I see you haven't grown at all. Far be it for me to dampen your fun, but you need to be careful with them. They aren't as sturdy as us."
no subject
"He held up well enough. He was exceptionally eager to try out my partial transformation." They chuckle. "I'm surprised he requested it, it's very rare that anyone does."
Their attention returns to Hades as a sly little grin forms on their lips. "Though you did."
no subject
"I don't know what I was thinking then," he mutters, looking aside once more. "Mayhap the moonlight did cloud my mind. You needn't follow through if you don't wish to."
no subject
Ah, there he goes trying to hide how he feels again. Their grin only widens as they move forward to grab the front of his robes and pull themself up close to him. "Oh, no, I definitely want to follow through."
no subject
Azem gets the distinct pleasure of seeing Hades caught off-guard. He cannot seem to decide whether to face them or to keep trying to avoid their eye as he splutters.
"Alright, alright! When-- when we have an opportunity to, we shall do so. You don't need to stand so close to make your point!"
no subject
Azem can't help but chuckle as they lean in to plant a quick kiss on his cheek before releasing him. "Well, the hot springs seemed private enough late at night." They would absolutely go in there again to fool around with Hades. The weird happenings only made things more interesting in their opinion.
no subject
It is not the main reason but it is certainly A reason for him to not want to revisit the hot springs. On his own, perhaps yes.
...Although it occurs to him that shadow sex is probably the sort of thing that Azem would find incredibly fascinating - particularly if it's at his expense.
no subject
"That's half the thrill." Of course, they'd be into something like that. Though he does make a good point about their true forms. People coming in on them like that while everything is going on with the moon would probably not go over well. "But, okay. When we can find a nice private place we'll do it."
no subject
"There are no shortage of hot springs in this land, that said," he says gruffly. "Whilst I do not want to chance it here with so many refugees, perhaps elsewhere...?"
no subject
"Ooooh?" Azem looks thoughtful as they tap their finger against their chin. "Do you mean elsewhere here? The rooms are bigger than what we were provided with upon arrival." Though they imagine it'd be a tight fit if they both transformed fully.
no subject
"We don't have to find a spring large enough for our true forms, you know. We can simply appreciate them as we are now," he says. "As much as I enjoy lying with you, I treasure the time we spend together more."
no subject
"It gladdens me to hear you say this kind of thing, you know?" After he spent so long keeping his feelings to himself, it makes them happy. "Then let us wander around and take in the sights."
no subject
He finds himself thrown off-kilter for a moment. Time has a way of elevating certain memories over others; he cannot remember Azem being anything other than a flirtatious and insincere fool (and he means that in the fondest of terms).
Squeezing their hand, he starts to tug them to the food hall - or whatever it is the tengu call it. He is still unused to the language.
no subject
"It does," they respond with a smile as they squeeze his hand in return before following along. They're more than eager to just spend time with him exploring this new place.
