Lan Jingyi
[Kizuna traits- Jingyi has a small streak of pink in his hair, his eyes turn a shiny emerald green color whenever he's around Jiang Cheng and a light blue whenever he's around Sizhui. New additions: Jingyi now has pale blonde ears and tail of a labrador.]

Wen Qing
[Kizuna traits- Wen Qing is slowly getting more noticeable owl feathers in her hair.]

Ye Baiyi
[Kizuna traits- Baiyi can and does usually hide this, but his chest/ abdomen is covered in thick, white bear fur. He's just gained a small, white nub of a tail too, but he also hides that.]

Tay
[Kizuna traits- Tay has cute cat ears, one white and one black, and a white, long-haired cat tail with black patches.]

Whimpering shrilly like a hurt dog, Jingyi only realizes someone is there when he hears Xingchen's voice. He tries to quiet down but the intense feeling of loss and pain is brutal.

"Y- yes," he manages and opens his mouth for the daozhang. He tries to open his eyes too, but it hurts too much. "Can't see."

[gentledawn]

"This is a pill to help the pain." Xingchen places the pill under Jingyi's tongue, "Just let it dissolve."

Those eyes bring back bad memories, however, and he cradles the young Lan's face between his hands, getting a better look. The eyes are there and that is reassuring. But the blood...

"Keep them closed. Let your body heal. Your golden core will see to it." he brings a glass of water to Jingyi's lips, "Sip."

Jingyi drinks as he's silently instructed and discovers how much it helps. He eagerly drinks some more and swirls it about his mouth to get the taste of blood out of it.

"I don't understand.. why is this happening? I- is Hanguang Jun still here and Sizhui?"

[gentledawn]

"I will ask Zichen, but I am certain Hanguang-Jun at least is present." Xingchen frowns and mentally nudges his soulmate - an ability they discovered thanks to their bond.

Has Sizhui left? He fears that is the case.

It's such a relief to here his shifu is at least here. They could support each other and get through whatever is happening so long as they weren't alone. He hopes at least.

"Why is this world taking people away like this? Do you think it's something we've done to upset the gods?"
