[ So far no permanent kizuna traits!

He can be found...anywhere because he'll be exploring. ]

[It's easy to recognize Yingyuan from a distance after having already spoken with his father. Runyu's just been out looking at tea sets curiously but he's distracted from that to watch the other man. They truly do look so much alike...

He hums softly then offers a smile when the man looks his way. He's been caught. There's no point in hiding it.

The dragon gives him a nod.]

Forgive my staring. I spoke with a man who said there was another who looked like him. I was surprised to see how true that is.

[ The resemblance is uncanny, really. It's how Yingyuan had even known without needing to ask, just who Xuanye is to him. He'd only needed his parents' names. And what happened.

Now...of course he notices when he's being stared at. He doesn't quite roll his eyes as he glances over to see who it is this time. But at least this time the other doesn't deny it, only nods with an apology.

The features are somewhat new, at least to the extent of the display, and he wonders idly if it's a choice.

But the request for forgiveness is more arresting and his head tilts just a little. ]

When I saw him, I was surprised as well.

[ Enough of an admission. Elsewhere it might get him or his father killed. Here? He won't let his father be hunted again. ]

I would imagine so. I would be surprised too if I ever met someone who had exactly the same face as I did.

[So far that hasn't happened but with the many universes out there he knows it to be a possibility. He's not sure yet what he'll do when that happens but he hopes he'll have patience and open-mindedness.]

I am Runyu. It is good to meet you. Even if I must admit that it would have been better if I'd not started it off with uncomfortable staring.

No one mattered to him before Ranqing and it had taken him several tries - well, more than several - to understand how he should treat her. Xuanye accepts that she is likely out of his reach, but their son isn't. Yingyuan is adorable and so like Ranqing that Xuanye can't help but be drawn to him. The boy's explorations are usually followed - something Yingyuan may notice.

Emotions are...complicated.

Family is even worse.

Love? Yingyuan is not quite ready to admit he feels that at all, much less for whom his heart has decided to pine for.

Of course he knows he's being followed. And by who. It's...a feeling he's also not sure how to handle. But he doesn't protest. Only faces the direction of his stalker when they're alone.

And waits.

Xuanye appears, as if out of thin air, before Yingyuan, grinning proudly. He would expect someone of his bloodline to have refined senses - and clearly his son does not fail his expectations!

"What troubles you?" he can listen and maybe help. Or he can challenge Yingyuan to a duel. That can help too in his experience.
