Pete let himself get knocked off, flopping onto the bed next to Vegas. "What's the matter, city boy? Scared of how much this turns you on?" he said switching back to the dialect Vegas knew better.

"I'm gonna bite you to see if I really am venomous." But not really, just in case he actually was... which would kind of suck given how much he liked nibbling on Pete.

"Well you don't have fangs yet and cobras have hollow fangs to deliver their venom." Pete grinned at him, grabbing his hand to thread their fingers together. He had a feeling that if Vegas did grow fangs that they'd just find a clever way to deal with it. Maybe with caps for them or something.

Vegas turned on his side and gathered Pete up in his arms, chomping dramatically.

"Maybe they're retractable!"

"Well then you should have some bumps on your gums for them. Should I inspect your mouth too?"

Rolling on his side, he pressed himself close. His ears easily relaxed as he settled into the arms of his husband.

Okay, minus the startling awakening, this morning hadn't started off so bad. Vegas wasn't a morning person, but it was always pleasant to just have some time to snuggle with Pete. And, maybe, it was even a little enjoyable to deal with his sassy attitude.

But that didn't stop him from leaning in to kiss him and letting his tongue go exploring. To find out if there were fangs for sure. Definitely not because they were just using this as an excuse for lazy morning makeouts.

Vegas hums into Pete's mouth, for once letting him maintain control of this kiss. That's more common in the mornings since Vegas is especially lazy before noon. He runs his hands along Pete's back and sides, then reaches around to feel up his tail.
