Will gasped suddenly and bounced in his seat. "Let's get zeppoles!" Fried dough, powdered sugar, warm chocolate sauce? Mmm!!

"Oh I think you'll love those, Wanyin. They're really good and you dip them in warm chocolate. So it'll be like having hot chocolate!"

Riley smiled brightly as he waved for the waiter then put in an order for them. Because they had to show this man the wonders of something like this. Especially when it meant that they'd be served fresh here.

"Okay?" He had no idea what they were, much less the pronunciation of them. He'd need more than just one statement to learn the word itself. But it was something the Fae were excited about so he was willing to try. They had a sweet tooth (actually, their whole faces were sweet teeth) and so far he hadn't been steered wrong by their eating preferences.

So when the zeppoles came out, his face brightened. "It almost looks like a steamed bun." But knowing the Fae and how this establishment was Italian and not the same as his home, it was bound to be different. Especially with the sweet sauces presented.

When the sweets came out, Will bounced eagerly in his seat. He stared at them like he was looking at the most precious thing in the world and he gripped one of Jiang Cheng's hands in his excitement.

"They're fried dough!" So a little heavier than a steamed bun when settled in the stomach. "Fried dough with powdered sugar. And then you dip them, like this," he snatched one up and dipped a corner in the chocolate before offering the first bite to Cheng.

"Rather than steamed and filled with something they're more like a fluffy dough from being fried. So they're not as dense," Riley explained further, taking up one for himself and dipping it in the chocolate so that way he could have a bite of it.

Which resulted in a bit of chocolate on his chin. Oops. He'd get that later though.

He was paying attention to Riley's explanation as he bit into the chocolate corner of the dough. And it was as Riley had said- fluffy and light. And it was delicious, to be honest.

"It is good," he agrees, turning to look at Riley. Oh, there's a smudge of chocolate on his chin! "You have some... right.." How bold of him to reach out to wipe it away with his thumb! So truly, very bold!
