People get piercings all the time and some of those piercings weigh more than her! She hops onto his hand and gives him a smile. Even if he teases her and pretends to ignore her, Jin Mi is head-over-heels in love with her husband.

"I made your favorites~ I made mine too!"

He doesn't doubt the depth of her love for him. He will never make that mistake again. Xufeng's smile remain soft as he carries her into their home, following his nose at that tempting promise!

"Thank you for working so hard, Mi'er."

To tease him, a bowl of nectar and a single grape lay waiting on the table. What? That would be tough for a hummingbird to move around!

She flutters into the kitchen and transforms back into a proper little goddess. The pain is momentary, but it's enough to make her squeak.

[firefalling]

His wife is adorable and silly. The bowl of nectar makes him snicker and shake his head before following her into the kitchen. Especially after that squeak! But he understands, and slips his arms around her waist from behind to press a kiss to her cheek to help chase the pain away.

It's a good joke! Of course the real food is waiting in the kitchen. She gives a little shudder of pain until he joins her. Then all pain is forgotten. Turning against him, she gives him a cheeky kiss on the lips.

"What? The nectar isn't good enough? I gave you a grape too."

[firefalling]

His arms are loose enough around her that turning in them is easy, and he smiles into the kiss she gifts him with. He chuckles and nuzzles their lips together to tease her in answer.

"The only grape I want to nibble on is in my arms," he teases her right back and nips playfully at her sweet lips.

She remembers a time, not so long ago, that she had feared he would eat her. Now she giggles at the thought and bounces on the balls of her feet, hugging him to her.

"I'm not a grape!" though, really, if he wants her to be, she will be. Jin Mi is hopeless and shameless when it comes to her Phoenix.

[firefalling]

He remembers those days too, when he'd pretended to try to eat her. Now? 'Eating' her has a whole new meaning! Xufeng beams at her giggle and the joy in her bounce, and hugs her right back.

He laughs at her denial and claims a deeper kiss simply because he loves her so very much! "No," he murmurs when they part. "You are my Mi'er."

A better meaning! She doesn't wanna be someone's meal. Then again, he could probably get away with a nibble or two. She does love his kisses, though a lone snowflake can't possibly withstand fiery phoenix kisses! But it's okay if she melts.

Jin Mi trusts him to catch her in a cup until she regains her form. A soft sound answers his kiss and she shivers all the way to her feathers.

"My Phoenix." she murmurs warmly, lovingly, "I love you."
