His sister said soup and Cheng had all but run to go see her. He also wanted to show her that the magic of the land or the gods or whomever was in charge of the random gifts what he had received in time for his birthday: Zidian.

Jiang Cheng is a server, not a performer. He brings drinks and food to the patrons and tries to avoid looking at the screens. His brother enjoys toying with him and making extra noise and motion just to embarrass him. He's a little grateful that the low lighting helps hide the perpetual flush on his cheeks. That is, until he sees his next table. Steeling himself, he strides forward, trying to keep professional as he introduces himself and questions about the order.

Who knew that learning how to ride a bicycle was going to be a bruising experience? Not him! Still cursing the little contraption out, Cheng finally gives into shedding his robes and keeping to the undershirt and pants so he doesn't get his clothing stuck in the spokes for the twentieth time. He sports a few scrapes here and there and has already cussed someone out for providing 'friendly advice.'

"If I wanted your opinion, I would have asked for it!"

Huaisang sighs and snaps the fan shut. Honestly, Jiang Cheng can be so dense. He’ll never understand how it was even possible for a Sect Leader to be so dense!

He reaches forward, using the tip of the fan to draw a line down the other’s chest.

“The Hot Pot and you,” he says plainly now.

Oh damn. Shit, damn, fuck. Cheng stares back at Huaisang, swallowing hard as his face heats up. That type of request, while he normally blew off from others, hit him strangely in this moment and he swallowed hard. The training for this particular request had him scoffing because honestly, who would choose him?

Stubbornly clenching his jaw, he bows, looking at the table. "Do you wish your meal here or in a more private arrangement?" He hoped the other would pick the latter. He silently prayed that he would. Jiang Cheng did not want to be on display.

Huaisang is clearly amused when the other seems taken aback by his request. He enjoys the red that’s showing on the other’s cheeks.

The question brings a raised brow and Huaisang wants to say right here. But he knows better. Jiang Cheng is skittish.

“In private would be fine.”

He can't help but feel an odd mix of humiliation and relief. The other waitstaff told him about this. Joked about it as if it wasn't a big thing. He bowed, taking a step back.

"Please come with me, honored guest."

He took the tea set and walked to one of the more private booths, his back so straight it seemed like he was going to the gallows. Cheng didn't spare a look at anyone as he walked past, especially not to the co-workers who were sniggering at him. Or pitying looks. Didn't matter to Jiang Cheng, it was all the same to him.

It was a little while longer after settling Huaisang into his new accommodations before Cheng returned with the meal and himself. His usual uniform had been replaced with something a little sheerer and with the way Cheng was blushing, could have been pink but that could also be just the flush.

Difficult as it was to block out the knowledge that there were people on the other side of the curtains, it was more difficult to say anything. Jiang Cheng didn't even bother to try as he knelt before Huaisang with a grace that the supervisor never felt he needed to correct, and began serving the person who was his equal in title ...in another life.

Apparently, requesting the waitstaff meant that they too were actually on the menu. And this time, the flustered man allowed it.

Huaisang studies Jiang cheng's body language and he would have to see about getting the man to relax. Perhaps a few drinks would help he thinks. He pays no mind to those around them. He has his sights on Jiang Cheng for the moment.

The sect leader settled into the private booth comfortably, fanning himself while he waited for the other man to return with food and himself. He smirks when he sees what the other is wearing -- sees the blush of his cheeks. Handsome. His eyes followed his movements, briefly licking his lips.

"Will you have a few drinks with me?"

Dammit, they were right. He had started to refuse the wine pot that was pressed into his hands but they were adamant about it. Glancing up at Huaisang, he turned his work from serving dinner to pouring drinks, first Huaisang's, then his own cup.

If had been anyone else he needed to serve, he would have scoffed and thrown the wine pot in their face. But this was Huaisang. And as much as this felt humiliating, Cheng also felt equal portions of wanting to please the other and so he knelt there after the wine was poured, hands flat on his thighs, waiting for Huaisang to take the first sip.

Huaisang studies Jiang Cheng as he pours the drink and he sighs inwardly at how quiet Jiang Cheng is being. He'd rather see his temper than silence! He takes a drink once it's in his hand and then waits for the other to drink before speaking.

"What's wrong, A-Cheng?"

"Nothing!" It's a reflexive response well noted with defensive posturing. Cheng has enough presence to look chagrined at his own outburst as his hands curl into fists on his thighs and then forcibly relax.

He inhales once and then slowly releases it before speaking. "I ... don't know what to expect. From this." Great. He's fairly certain that Huaisang must be thinking about the whole ordeal abstractly. Cheng looks up with a half disgusted, half annoyed expression on his face. "I knew this was going to be part of the job--eventually. Anyone who asked, I refused-which I'm allowed to do. And another staff member would take my place. And I want..." He can't quite get the words out of his throat and falls comically silent, almost shivering from the stress of forcing himself to remain and not run away. He was not a peacock.

Huaisang's eyes narrow at Jiang Cheng, silently letting him know that he knows he's lying. Huaisang leans back as he watches him, lets him answer. His fan is moving again, stray hairs moving with each flick.

"Do you want to refuse me too?" Huaisang questions, leaning forward and the fan snaps shut, he reaches, tapping it on one of the other's hands idly before drawing back. "You know you can. It's not like I can force you to do anything you wouldn't want to do."

"No!" The word was out before Huaisang could finish the statement, his eyes ablaze as he looked directly into the man's eyes. "No, I do not want to refuse you. I....I want you."

Why it was this hard to admit to it? That he wanted to do this, to please Huaisang with it. That it was something he wanted and desired? Feeling barer than he ever had before, he shifted his gaze to look at the table, pretending his legs were boulders so he didn't flee. In a sudden fit of needing to do something, he took a cup of wine and downed it like it was hard liquor, focusing on the burn going down his throat.

Huaisang studies Jiang Cheng and is a bit taken aback by the other's admission. He reaches out to touch him, to brush his fingertips along his jaw after the other had down the cup of wine. He smiles and his fingers slide down his throat slowly.

"Then take me."

He jumps a little at the touch, not expecting it in the least. Soon enough his eyes drift, enjoying the feeling of a single finger, hoping against hope that he wasn't going to be laughed at for his outburst. His head tilts back so slightly and Cheng is more than aware of how Huaisang's finger is traveling dow his neck.

Cheng almost misses the words. Almost.

His eyes snap back into focus and he zeros in on the other man. Can he live with just this much? Because he knows he's not much. He's certain there are others better suited. But that doesn't mean he's going to pass this up.

He at least has enough sense to make certain the cup is on the table before he turns towards the other, a predatory gaze leveled on Huaisang as he crawls closer, ready to claim those lips with his own.

Huaisang isn't in the mood to laugh at Jiang Cheng, maybe with him, if the other would loosen up and play more freely with him. They could really have fun but all the same...

He likes the way Jiang Cheng as the other crawls to him. The crawl doesn't strike him as submissive. No, it's more of a prowl with the predatory eyes on him. Like a tiger about to pounce on its prey -- only this prey had been luring and teasing the tiger, daring him to do it.

"Are you going to stop there?"

"Brat," he growled, snapping up Hauisang's mouth. As he worked to consume Huaisang, he kept invading into Huaisang's space, pushing him back against the cushions and forcing his legs apart.

Cheng reached up to touch Huaisang's face, letting heavy fingers draw down to his collar bone and then sneak into the folds of his robe, loosening the crisp edges. His teeth nipped at Huaisang's lower lip before he changes the angle to attack his mouth some more.

There's hardly any force needed as with the other's movements and the slightest hint of what Jiang Cheng wanted, Huaisang is more than willing to part his legs to accommodate the other man. He laughs at being called a brat, looking at Jiang Cheng with a hint of affection mixed in with his amusement. He exhales at the way the other's fingers tease him, pull at his robes.

"Ah," he mewls as the other nips his lip and he meets the other's mouth as Jiang Cheng initiates the kiss. His own fingers are moving down, working open the sheerer robes that Jiang Cheng had changed into.

The ties are familiar enough that he doesn't fumble too badly. Hearing Huaisang's laugh--Cheng thought he would be defensive about it, thinking that the other was laughing at him and it surprises him that he doesn't mind. Going through all the layers, he bites at Huaisang's exposed nipple, pushing the robe open as far as the sleeves would allow.

Cheng shifts here and there, trying to help Huaisang more than hinder. The sheer fabric does have some sensation as it's drawn off his skin but it's nothing compared to the sensation of heat beneath him. Being nestled between Huaisang's thighs, his scent all around, everything outside of their little private booth is non-existent now that he had who he wanted.

It's nice that Jiang Cheng doesn't react negatively to the laugh, that Huaisang can be light and joyful in the moment of intimacy and fun with the other man that he doesn't immediately take it as an attack. Huaisang can appreciate that even in the moment. Even as the other is pushing away layers and teeth find the sensitive pink nub. He gasps, arching into the bite the sleeves drawing tight at his arms and he shifts to start sliding them off the rest of the way.

Then his hands are able to spray over the other's skin, curling in some.

It all seems favorable to him! The bite is soothed with a swipe of his tongue and then suction as he rests his weight on Huaisang. He's missed this kind of warmth and never really noticed until now. Cheng's hands slowly travel up Huaisang's sides as he swipes his tongue up the center of the man's chest to reach his lips.

Huaisang moans, shamelessly as the other continues to be attentive to the sensitive flesh, as he feels him all the more against him. He shivers as the other's hands move over him. This is good, so very good. Jiang Cheng seems at ease with him in this moment and Huaisang relishes it.

His lips part as their lips meet again. His hips rolling up against the other's body teasingly.

He wanted Huaisang to know how comfortable he was. Cheng was soaking in Hauisang's warmth as he kept touching and licking and kissing. And when Huaisang moved beneath him he moaned softly, hot and heated by the other's ear.

Could they go now? Should Cheng wait? What was the protocol for this? He was enjoying all of this and he wanted more but the first time they were together, it was not on the clock. Technically, he needed to follow what Huaisang wanted to do but it seemed like he was on the same page with Cheng.

Huaisang drags his hands down the other's back to the curve of his ass and then back up as he rocks his hips upward. He wants more now.

"A-Cheng, do you want to take me?"

No warning. There's never any warning with Huaisang! Cheng groans, nodding into the crook of Huaisang's neck before he remembers he really needs to verbalize it.

"Yes," he admits as he rocks down, eyes drifting shut at the sensation.

Huaisang likes to keep Jiang Cheng on his toes! It's fun.

Huaisang chuckles and he rolls his hips up, enjoying the way the other rocks down against him. "How do you want me?"

A million things flutter through his head. Ideas, desires. But this was Huaisang's dinner entertainment and he didn't get the lead--at least he wasn't supposed to.

"Like this," he finally groaned out, setting up an easy, mutually pleasing rhythm. "Want to watch you."

Huaisang is still in control, he's the one choosing to ask, choosing to allow Jiang Cheng to have his way. He wouldn't mind if sometime Jiang Cheng ripped that control from him but so far he feels quite in charge of things when they're together -- he doesn't mind it either.

He brushes his hands down the other's back, his body moving to encourage him to keep going. "You like to watch me, don't you?"
