Legend of Doggo: Breath of the Doge
[maybe it was curiosity in the task itself, or perhaps he was intrigued by the rewards gained if he were to actually succeed. Like he could say no to a treasure from this world; Dohalim probably won’t find the need to use it, but it would be a nice piece to have in the house as a decoration.
Yes, he’s turning into one of those house owners.
However. Maybe it was his hubris leading him into this, having just a little too much confidence in his skills to take on the Dodongo alone. He isn’t sure how long he’d been fighting the damned lizard creature; even the toughest zeugles in Dahna weren’t as bad as this one is. But he’s still trying to put up a fight, his rod clutched in his hands as he tries to look for an opening, dodging right before it strikes.
Maybe give him a hand here…]
Enchanted Bathwater
[he’d been to a few fancy bathhouses and hot springs in his time; being in his sort of position had allowed him such luxuries to indulge in. however, as he’d quickly noticed, there was no drink service like he’s used to, and nearly committing a faux pas of trying to catch a staff person’s attention, he’d just settled into one of the more public springs.
He must have missed the sign warning about the effects of the vortex of time; the next thing he knows, not only does he look like an actual child, but he’ll be going around to every kid in the pool and introducing himself. Usually, his parents won’t let him talk to those who obviously are not of noble liege, but his parents aren’t here right???? He’s gonna go make some friends]
Hi-- Oh, um-- [no, that isn’t how he should be speaking, where are his manners] Hello. Would you mind the company? [the child-like wonder in his eyes look like they’re almost begging yes]
Unlimited Thirst Works [locked to Red Wine]
[now, he’s not one to be driven by money by any stretch of the imagination. Really, he should have taken the bracelet off once the glitch was discovered and subsequently fixed. But… maybe like with the dodongo, curiosity got the better of him (wasn’t there a saying that it killed the cat…), and he kept it on, just to see what would happen.
Big mistake.
It started out bearable at first, something Dohalim could ignore, for the most part. But that, of course, didn’t last too long. As the kizuna effects really start to settle in, he can feel himself get increasingly more… well, possessive is probably the right word for it. He’d already claimed Allen as his own (which, really, he didn’t seem like he minded in the slightest), but… he’d left to go do… Whatever it is he needed doing. However, this isn’t sitting too well with Dohalim, and it’s showing ever so slightly, even though he’s trying not to let it show on his face. Namely the yellow hyacinths weaved in his hair and his eyes gleaming an emerald green; it seems the kizuna had chosen to show itself in forms of flowers (’Again with the flowers in my hair,’ he finds musing to himself, but not minding it too much).
But, he’ll try to ignore those effects (very poorly), by busying himself with a cup of tea. But when he looks up and sees Red Wine, his eyes look almost like gemstones as they glow. Honestly, it does take a lot of him not to jump over the table and take him then and there.
It’s a matter of decorum he has to uphold, after all, despite the heat in between his legs growing ever warmer and ever harder. He nods to the other man as he continues to busy himself with his tea]
Red Wine.
Unlimited Thirst Works [open] (Daikoh)
[it’s still a hunger he can’t seem to satisfy, a thirst he just can’t seem to quench. By all means, he really should be feeling absolutely spent, weak kneed, and unable to move. It has to be the damn bracelet; really, he should take it off. Is any sort of monetary value worth this? Some could probably argue it.
Even in his own arguments, he still doesn’t take it off. Even as the yellow hyacinths bloom in his hair, weaving through his wavy locks, he still doesn’t take it off.
But he’ll be shuffling among the hot springs, the warmth from the thermal baths and his own body heat that he just can’t seem to cool down melding together. It’s too hot. But… it’s also like he’s not doing anything about it. In fact, he does the exact opposite, as he pins the nearest person to him against the wall, emerald green eyes replacing his usual warm amber alight with desire, and… something else. Something akin to possessiveness, the need to claim one as his own]

u know
He isn't looking for Dohalim when he finds him, but he recognises immediately that the man is... distracted (not quite the word? He can't put his finger on the right word to use).]
Hello, sweetheart.
[Despite the lack of kizuna affecting is own body there is an undeniable spark of excitement at being looked at like that. It settles immediately between his thighs and makes the tips of his ears prick up as he rests one hand on the table beside Dohalim's cup and leans down slightly.]
You're looking rather radiant at the moment. The flowers suit you.
no subject
watching the man approach him and lean down, Dohalim reaches up to his own hair to pluck a single bloom, holding it with his thumb and forefinger, in between the both of them]
Yellow hyacinth... Do you know what they mean in the language of flowers?
[Dohalim speaks slowly, trying to keep his voice as steady as possible. but it's proving to be almost too difficult, especially when he moves to tuck the bloom behind Red Wine's ear, letting his fingers brush along it. oh, to pull this man into his lap and ravish him here, to take him completely, in front of everyone...
but no, there's a lesson to be had here, first]
no subject
His head twitches slightly as if to pull himself away from the touch against his ear and a small frown tugs at his expression as he stands up straighter to move himself out of Dohalim's reach. But now his ear is tingling, and he raises his hand to touch the flower that had been tucked behind it.]
Jealousy. [Red Wine murmurs, and it's not just his ear that's tingling now. It runs immediately rampant through his entire body, flushing him with warmth and an obvious blush of colour rises to his cheeks.
What in the name of--..?]
... What did you just do to me?
no subject
[a casual deflection of Red Wine's question? absolutely. mostly because he doesn't know either, mostly unaware that his own kizuna is affecting the other man. all he does know is that he won't be able to last much longer, very much needing that contact.
standing slowly, and as steadily has he can, both hands reach up to Red Wine's cravat, using it to tug him close. with the yukata he has on, it's hard to miss the bulging heat coming from in between his legs. the contact isn't enough, it won't be enough until Dohalim has him naked under him]
As for what I have done... Unfortunately... That is not an answer I have for you.
no subject
And he's... trembling, suddenly, as his long ears visibly drop and his pupils blow wide. His hands are loose by his sides and he lifts them up to place both of them at Dohalim's waist. Red Wine isn't given to public displays of affection beyond a kiss, usually, but he thinks he might not actually protest too much if Dohalim threw him across a table.
He shakes his head quickly to rid himself of that thought and though it doesn't quite dislodge, it retreats enough that he doesn't find the idea too palatable.]
You're... [Mumbled. He swallows.] ... Turnabout is fair play, don't you think..?
no subject
[he lets a hand go from the fabric around Red Wine's neck in favour of sliding it down to the small of his back, before closing whatever little distance they had left between them. he nudges his thigh between Red Wine's legs, shifting his leg up to press up against him. his own growing erection presses against the other man; he lets out a soft groan. yes... definitely still not enough]
But I am not favouring fair play at the moment.
[his other hand lets go of the cravat to move to the gently toy with the ends of his hair, before tangling his finger in those dark purple locks, and tugging, no, pulling his head back to expose his throat]
Tell me... [he lets out a gasp as he grinds against Red Wine] Would you be so opposed to me bending you over this table and taking you right now, in front of passers by to watch?
no subject
Gods, its...
His head goes back easily, pale throat exposed. The question makes him shudder.]
Not-- [His voice is shaking. He tries again.] Not entirely. [Though it would really be more for Dohalim than himself. Not his kind of thing really. He prefers the intimacy of a private space.
He's gripping Dohalim's hips hard, fingertips digging through the fabric of his clothes.]
But-- [Hard to speak. The words feel like honey stuck in his throat and he's so hot, suddenly.] Opposed enough to not-- be s... supportive of non-consensual voyeurism.

Unlimited Thirst Works, now with more catboys
[Which is really for the best, because it's the only reason Dohalim doesn't get yeet across the spring by a blast of anemo energy when he suddenly pins Aether up against one of the stone walls in the spring itself. At least Aether has a towel around his waist, but that's about all he has right now.]
[But honestly the most important thing here is that their height difference means Dohalim will get a nice eyeful of Aether's new golden cat ears atop his head, which fold down as he frowns up at him.]
Er... did you need something from me?
no subject
all of that momentarily leaves him as soon as he sees the cat ears poking out from Aether's hair. oh no. that's... entirely too cute-- strange. it's very strange. could it be kizuna? or did he always have those ears?
he doesn't answer Aether, eyes fixated on top of his head. instead, he'll bring a hand up to gently rub at one of them; oh, it feels exactly like a real cat ear...]
no subject
[Still, he does tense up, not really sure what to do in a situation like this. Should he shove the man away? He's just... petting him. That's fine, right? And in any case, his body is practically demanding to be touched right now. The ache brought of by the heat felt as though it was getting worse the longer he stood here trying to ignore it.]
[Though speaking of ignoring things-- is Dohalim going to be able to ignore the fact that he has a tail, too? Because he does -- hiding beneath the surface of the water and underneath his towel, now wagging in response to the petting.]
no subject
but feeling the tail brush up against his leg... now that's an interesting addition. something compels him to dip a little into the water, his free hand grazing its fingers along the length of his tail]
Would you mind terribly if I...
no subject
[But of course, that just has him turning scarlet, ears folding down as he leans into Dohalim. His mind races as he starts getting a better idea of this man's intentions, and yet-- after a moment to think, he finds that he doesn't really mind the idea. Why, if anything, perhaps this was what he really needed? After all, there was no risk of falling in love with a stranger, so the possibility of over-complicating his friendships or even ruining them was non-existent. And he can't deny he's been a little pent up since trying to deny himself these newfound desires...]
[Shyly, he peeks around Dohalim to see whether anyone could spot them from where they are -- and then looks up with a nod.]
Mm. Go ahead and-- pet me wherever you want.
no subject
his fingers trail up Aether's tail, appreciating how soft it feels, even under water. he has no idea who this person is, but it's not like he's protesting this, right now. in fact, one could say he's enjoying this attention. watching Aether's reactions, Dohalim's hand slips up past the towel, until he can feel the junction where the tail meets his back; his nails graze along that spot]

Doggo
He let out a breath and took that moment to create a sword of ice to wield and he looked over at Dohalim.]
That won't hold it for long, got any ideas?
[The weak spot had to be its mouth, but getting close enough to kill it from within was going to take some tactical maneuvering. Not to mention keep his ice frozen long enough to make it inside. He had a few ideas, but he was curious to see what Dohalim's plan was coming in alone like this.]
no subject
We have to some how get to its mouth.
[he voices what Kaeya is thinking, in a sort of deadpan voice that betrays him. he's tired and wants to go; the armour promised when the creature was brought back is almost not worth it in the end.
but then again, Dohalim also isn't a quitter. perhaps it was that same hubris that got him here in the first place]
I have not been able to keep it in place with its mouth open long enough to do much else.
no subject
I can try and use ice to get to its mouth, but it'll just breathe fire and melt it.
[Just like it was doing now to the barrier. It would have to be quick, but the icicle would need to be thick to last long enough to reach the lizard considering he wasn't keen on getting so close to it where it would fry him before he even got the ice going.]
Do you think you can distract it and hold it in place with one of your abilities?
no subject
[especially now that it's more or less immobilised; and while they can still be lit on fire, at least they won't melt like Kaeya's ice will. now if he can keep the mouth pried open so the other man can get in there and kill it...]
How do you propose we keep its mouth open?
no subject
[Vines would keep it down, as can ice the creature seemed to cumbersome to fire at its own feet. Kaeya continued to reinforce both the ice wall and the ice keeping it grounded as he thought quickly. The fire only lasted as long as the creature could breathe, it wasn't continuous. It gave them mere seconds if it decided to exhale fire as soon as got its breath back. Goodness, for something that wasn't much larger than themselves it packed quite a punch!
His eye then caught onto movement, another much smaller animal trying to get by. His sword was quick, flung at the animal and slain within seconds. It was here he decided to switch out the ice sword for a more practical sword that appeared out of golden sparks.]
Well, even lizards have to eat. Hold it down with your vines, let's see if it will allow us to wine and dine it long enough to slay it. Hm?
no subject
Just as long as you do not go off changing your clothing in the middle of the battle. I'm afraid I do not have any spare garments for you, this time.
[that being said, as his eyes and hand glow indigo for a moment, vines shoot up from the ground, thick green tendrils wrapping themselves around the monster's limbs and body, rooting it into place. at least, now, with Kaeya's assistance, he can accomplish this without being burned to a crisp]

Seems the big deal is this whole magic property thing they've got going on. Shoulda read the warning signs.
The boy Dohalim approaches is still small for his age, not much younger than Dohalim himself, blond hair plastered to his forehead and golden eyes watching the redhead with wide-eyed wonder. He looks... almost like he's never seen anyone like Dohalim before, and he curls in on himself with his knees to his chest and submerged in the water up to his nose.]
Yes. No? Um. You can join me if you want.
[The words seem to just appear directly in Dohalim's mind, in a voice that's soft and meek, and the boy simply keeps staring at him.]
no subject
Um-- Did you... Did you hear a voice just now? Or did you...
[Dohalim has an idea of what just happened, but... no, it couldn't be... he's only read of magic like that in his fairy tale books]
no subject
[He fidgets a bit, embarrassed, before raising his head out of the water.]
I-I've never spoken to anyone before, like this...
[And then he ducks back down, watching to see what Dohalim does.]
no subject
You can do that? Talk to people in their heads?
[never in Lenegis had Dohalim ever heard of anyone be able to do that, and he's met some really talented artes users (including several members of his own family). the look on his face lights up a little as he forgets any propriety he had in him, offering a smile]
That is so cool!
no subject
It's normal for my race...
[He fidgets still, but he raises his head enough to smile back at Dohalim. It's still a shy, awkward thing like he's never quite smiled before, but it is... indescribably nice to be talking to someone.]
So you've never met anyone else that could do that?
no subject
[honestly, Dohalim's just happy he gets to talk to another kid like this without having to be all proper, and minding his manners. he can just be the kid he wants to be without his parents hovering around him.
he has a wide-eyed look on his face to pair with the smile as he hears the voice in his head again. at the question, he shakes his head]
No, never! You're the first one I've met who has the ability. What's your name?
