There was no way he was going to be neglecting his brother. He loved him dearly and didn't want to lose this chance to be close to him again. Even with the pain in his own heart of their different timelines. That was his own trial to face. Not something for him to drag his brother into.

So he went to his rooms with a tray in hand. Alcohol for his brother, tea for himself. Offering him a smile, he came in to set the tray down.

"If you've the time I thought we could sit together awhile." Like they used to. But that part he left unsaid.

Life is complicated at times, more and less so here than home. But his brother is here, and he's already made one friend - ironically another dragon.

But his brother always comes first.

Xufeng likes the rooms Runyu had led him to and decorated, enough that he does sleep most nights there. And the grounds are beautiful, with real flowers.

His brother will find him at the window with it open to let in the breeze and light, but at the arrival, he stands with a welcoming smile and moves to where Runyu sets the tray down.

"I have as much time as you want." What does he really have to do to occupy his time here?

Pouring alcohol for his brother and tea for himself, he swept his robes back so he could sit properly. It was nice to return to moments like this. When they would sit and drink together for hours chatting about anything and everything that came to mind. He'd missed that. They'd started again toward the end when his brother had acknowledged him as his brother once more but that wasn't something he could share so easily.

Instead he settled for much lighter topics. "How have you been doing here? Have you kept busy?"

[longyan]

His roar shakes just about any building and so he keeps quiet, zipping through the clouds silently until he is certain he has found the Phoenix. Slipping through the air like a serpent through water, Longyan takes himself lower and that is when he lets out a rumbling roar.

No, he isn't a weak, snake-like creature anymore! The Dragon King has come to call, causing people around and inside of Xufeng's building to shout and cry out in panic. Until he lands, of course, bowing his pale head to sniff some delicate flowers, his fuzzy mane not unlike dandelion fluff.

The mighty roar is a call he answers! Gladly, as the phoenix slips from his rooms only to pause and chuckle at the adorable sight. He stalks over without any fear and reaches out to rub over that fuzzy mane.

"You look much better today."

[longyan]

Ah, there he is! Longyan seems to smile - even in this form - and he leans his head against Xufeng's chest in greeting.

"Have you ever seen a dragon's point of view?"

Lowering himself to the ground is no difficulty considering his short legs. Climb on, Phoenix!
