October Catch-all --a little early.
⌛ Who: Jiang Cheng and Kinn Theerapanyakul
⌛ What: Neandering around town
⌛ When: Tail end of September but October (spoopy season)
⌛ Where: Wherever!
⌛ Warnings: TBD in threads
[Jiang Cheng, post qi deviation]
Once Cheng was strong enough to move around for more than ten minutes, he started trekking over to his friends houses to see how they were doing and to thank them for their help and apologize for causing so much trouble. With every friend he visited, he offered a fruit basket. If he thought cutting them would last, he would have.
He comes to the next home, takes a breath and then schools his face for a pleasant smile before knocking. All he had to do now was wait to be answered. Cheng fervently hoped that their relationship hadn't been ruined by the recent events.
[Jiang Cheng, Onsen]
Once he had recovered, he wanted to do ... something. Anything. He was tired of sitting in the house, tired of people hovering over him, worried about what he would do, if he would relapse. He just needed to get out of the house and relax a bit.
The best way he knew how was the Onsen. The incense was nice, the sound of water was soothing and Cheng was looking forward to relaxing, pampering himself with some expensive cleansers, and let the stress of the past three weeks drain out of him.
[Kinn, by the wharf]
Despite gathering evidence that overall, the place was relatively safe, Kinn still wanted to be prepared. So he made his way to the wharf where many had said one could find rare items, hoping he would find a seller who may have more than just information about firearms.
As he strolled through the allies, he walked with confidence as if he owned the place. His clothing was neat but not necessarily anything that would scream he was rich or in the wrong place. And as he walked, he considered the things he would change in the place. A floating market, some different variations in the market-maybe something foreign in terms of imports?
Evidently, he couldn't completely dismiss the mafia in him.

This was awkward for him too, honestly. Now he knew that the young man before him was A-Yuan, Wen Qing's martial brother, and he didn't know how he should react with that knowledge. It was probably as good as it was going to get right now, with the awkwardness.
"How have you been settling here? Any problems?"
no subject
The question was unexpected and he blinked a little before shaking his head and continuing with his task.
"No. Things have been nice here. It almost feels like this people could be another home. A place where I can get a chance to be with people I couldn't before." He meant Wen Qing but he didn't say as much. Just in case.
no subject
Another part said he still needed to heal. He wasn't good to anyone if he wasn't good to himself, first.
no subject
"Have you... Have you talked to Jingyi yet? About what happened?" he asked instead.

Bringing the tray over, he hesitated a moment then gave the man a formal bow. "If you could please reassure him that he didn't bring you such harm I would be grateful."
no subject
"He's not home?"
no subject
With that, he made sure that he served the Jiang leader first. It was the polite thing to do, of course. A nice light and refreshing tea for him to have while he waited. At least he hoped that he would wait.
no subject
“I can wait.” Cheng had nothing else pressing going on and he needed to clear the air with Jingyi before anything else could be done. He accepted the tea with a nod to his head as he curled his fingers around the cup. A brief smirk flashed across his face as he decided to fill the air with ‘casual conversation.’
“Sharing a room now, eh? That’s moving a little fast, isn’t it?”
What better way to pass the time than to provide some time honored Senior Teasing?
no subject
"...We've been sharing rooms everywhere since I arrived here actually. Just in different beds."
Well except for the night he got his tail...

Watching the young man blush was amusing and that elder teasing streak hit him just so. Pity it wasn't Jingyi; he could watch the blush as well as hear the familiar, almost comforting squawking. "Maybe I should have gifted him oil instead of a machine that stitches thread into clothing, for his birthday."
no subject
And then he gave the most undignified choke on his tea as he made the greatest startled noise at what the man just said. It resulted in tea all over his hands and the table and...
"...W...Wanyin-qianbei???"
no subject
That squint brightened as if he was excited to embarrass the other further. "If he is neglectful, never fear, I will help fill in the gaps."
no subject
His cheeks were completely on fire remembering that very awkward conversation. Really he'd rather not think about that one again. Thank you very much! "I wouldn't want to take up your time with asking questions. Especially if they might become...inappropriate."
no subject
He waited then, looking every bit the sect leader he was. Was Sizhui going to pick up on his hint?
no subject
"...we have not...done anything yet. But if you are willing then I might have...questions..." He tried to pick his words carefully to remain respectful while also saying he was curious.

"Wei-qianbei implied that one can use their mouth. I am still not sure what this means..."
no subject
Cheng kept his eye on Sizhui, trying to gauge how far he could get away with the teasing. The poor kid looked like he was ready to pass out. He sighs, pursing his lips slightly as he drops the teasing. "I really didn't know anything beyond what was murmured in dark alleys and what friends shared after class. Any knowledge I gained after arriving here." Whether that was voluntarily or by necessity he wouldn't say.
no subject
Feeling more confident now, he pushed forward. "He wasn't very clear, Wanyin-qianbei. At first he simply said that you can use your hands to play with each other. Or use your mouth or rub against each other. It was...very confusing. Later he began again and described the act of penetration. But all the things he mentioned before were then left out..."
Hence his confusion and question.
no subject
"So. Hands. They can be used everywhere." A small shrug. "Touch, caress, scratch, pull. On certain parts of the body, they can bring great pleasure and it will vary between one person and another. It's no different than someone liking pork and another preferring tofu. Personal preference. Talking's important." It was the one method of communication he managed to excel at. Talking outside of the bedroom? That still needed work. "Whatever feels good on you when you touch yourself is generally a good start to see if your partner does. And you have to trust them to let you know if they like it, don't like it, want something different, so on and so on."
It was probably a big assumption on his part that Lans did something other than meditate and eat rabbit food but as he learned over the years, anyone who denied stroking one out was either a eunich, lying, or dead.
no subject
Only...he never had. Had he thought about it? Certainly! But he'd very quickly sent himself to meditation as punishment for such thoughts.
"I have never touched myself in such a way before. Should I do so?" He had just wanted to be a good Lan boy. That meant resisting temptations!
no subject
"The best way to learn about a body is to start with yourself. And you'll be able to tell him better what you like and don't like and not be so overwhelmed in the moment." Yes, that was speaking from experience. He knew what he liked but... still outrageously overwhelmed by the entire experience.
no subject
The advice though had such a sound logic that he nodded with a small smile finally. It was a comforting thing to hear actually. He'd know what he liked the best if he tried it on himself first. Then when he and Jingyi were ready he'd be able to guide him better. Honestly that flowed well with how their relationship had always been too.
"I see. Jingyi might truly get overwhelmed when we are ready. This is a good idea." Because he was so eager to take care of him and help him still enjoy it.
no subject
"So with mouths? Same thing. You can use it anywhere as long as you're comfortable and he's comfortable. Might be a little more versatile than hands because you won't need oil..." Ah, yes. He had forgotten about that.
"Lubrication goes a long way. Too much friction will cause pain and rashes. Sometimes, in the right frame of mind, it's good but starting off? Oil." He lets Sizhui have a moment to digest that and finishes the tea in his cup, setting it on the table with a distinct clink.
