Now that he's settled into his own home, it's time to give the Daozhangs the beginning of a proper thank you for hosting them in October. So Vegas arrives at the Shrine of Moonlit Frost with a very large clay pot full of soup (Please forgive him, he's from a tropical climate so this is definitely soup weather for him!). So Song Lan will find him heading toward the temple from the ground in a jacket and scarf, looking around for either him or Xiao Xingchen. Once he spies Song Lan, he perked a little and nodded in his direction (since he needed both hands to carry that pot).

"Song daozhang!"

Fortunately for Vegas, the daozhangs enjoy soup! There is rarely not a pot of some sort of soup or stew over the fire.

Zichen is just setting aside a few things he wants to show his students for the next day's lesson when he spies the other man and answers the call with a polite nod and faint smile of welcome.

The pot catches his attention, naturally, and he immediately moves to help carry it to the kitchen.

"I was going to send you a message later asking how you all are doing. You are well, I hope?"

He hands over the pot and grins. "It's tom kha gai," he explained. "Coconut chicken soup."

Following where Song Lan led, he went on to answer the other man's question. "We're doing alright. It's not as tough to get one your feet here as I thought it would be. We've got out own place set up and I have my bar." He nodded happily as he spoke. "You've been doing good, too, yeah?"
