Kim vs Feelings Round One- Open
⌛ Who: Kim Theerapanyakun and various
⌛ What: FEELS and drinking
⌛ When: Following Will and Riley's wedding/b day party for Kinn
⌛ Where: Mostly the Hotel but drunken Kim might wonder
⌛ Warnings: Posted as needed.
Riley waking up had been a very much needed relief for Kim, even though he hadn't been like Will posted at his side the entire time he had slept Kim worried, about Riley and Will both. Their wedding had been nice and so was the party that followed, not that Kim stayed to the end of it having made a bee line with a bottle of booze to his room just before midnight.
When the following day came, leaving the room just seemed like the last thing he wanted to do. Not due to a hang over, but more because he hadn't sobered up and had no real intention of doing so. He had no idea what the hell he was doing, he just knew that he felt something that wasn't there before and he had no idea what to do with this. He knew his track record and he knew what a monster he really was. Probably second to only his father as far as the family went.
Yeah, just staying in his room and drinking himself stupid sounded like an awesome plan.

Finally Riley decided to go for it and knocked on the door. He had to try at least.

" Shit." came solidly from Kim who was now at an odd angle on the floor with his legs still partly up on the bed. Pulling his legs down he pawed around on the floor for the bottle of booze he'd been sucking on. Taking a drink from the bottle and setting it aside after sloppily putting the cap back on.
Oh yeah, some one knocked.
"I am under the weather." he yelled toward the door.
no subject
Yep, that was Riley's voice on the other side of the door. And he was really going to at least try to be allowed inside. He wouldn't be pushy but he had to at least try right? Since this was someone important to him?
"Um...if you don't want to talk we don't have to. We can just sit together and eat them."
Though it sounded like a fall happened in there. He wanted to at least look into that...
no subject
He looked like hell warmed over and smelled like whiskey. As soon as the door was opened he all but grappled Riley into a hug, not a strong one and some how Kim's forehead ended up on his chest.
He didn't say it but by the state of things he was definitely not okay.
no subject
For a moment he didn't say anything. He just let himself try to be as much comfort to the other as he could. But finally he had to ask...
"Do you want to talk about it?"

But he couldn't let Kim stay along forever. Especially not without food. So after giving him that space, he took some dinner up to Kim's room and knocked on the door. But he didn't wait to be let in and went to try the door immediately.
Not that a lock would stop him but still.

The side chair was leaning precariously against the wall with the other side table shoved over into it. Bed was a disheveled mess and Kim was in the corner blanket around him and leaning against the wall. When the door opened he made no attempt to move and just sighed heavily.
no subject
"Rough night, huh?" That was an understatement and he knew it. But he figured it would give Kim room to decide how much he actually wanted to share.
no subject
" I'm such a fucked up person." he said " But all in the same, I love you." he said waving his hand as if to emphasize the point. " You are my brother. Tell me. How did I end up like this?" sense making? Out the window.
no subject
"We're all pretty fucked up if you think about it. Look at the lives we come from. The fact that any of us are functioning on any level?" He gave a small snort of a laugh and let his head rest against the wall behind him.
"Who is it you're thinking about?" he asked, looking over at Kim.

But it appeared that the worst had passed and it was time to regroup. Which, in his amateur opinion, could only happen after a decent breakfast. Unfortunately, he was the morning cook so decent was questionable. His crash course of watching Vegas in the kitchen would have to do in regards to any sort of cooking lessons.
First stop was Kim's door. Porsche had caught sight of his brother in law heading back to his own rooms and assumed he was still there.
"Hey, Kim," he called out, knocking. "I'm taking breakfast orders."
no subject
" Whiskey neat, leave the bottle." it was spoken in a way that it was hard to tell if he was joking or not.
no subject
And this was family. So yeah, he guessed he did want to get involved. "I'll just check," he muttered to himself before calling out. "Hope you're dressed," he warned as he came in. The smell of alcohol made even him blink rapidly and hesitate.
"Yeah, I don't think another bottle is what you need," he ventured as he stepped closer to the bed, head tilting to get a better look at the younger man. Squatting down, Porsche sent up a prayer that this would not be the moment Kim's stomach attempted to forcibly sober him up. "Are you alive?"
no subject
" I am alive, and another bottle is what I need. Why did you ask if you were going to be choosy on what we are allowed. That's crap service." he said disgruntle obvious in his voice, no effort yet to move his head up off the pillow still face down grouching into the fluff.
no subject
He glanced around and took in the evidence a proper bender then looked back at the prone form. "So what's up, little brother? What are you trying so damned hard to drown?"

He knocked lightly on Kim's door -- his room seemed like the most logical place to start looking for him. He had drank a lot the night before.
"Hey Kim?" he called softly through the door. "It's Will. You in there? Can I come in?"
no subject
He looked toward the door at the sound of Will's voice, and scrambled to get up. Not dressed at all except for the boxer shorts. Kim looked rough to say the least and so did the room.
" Will! I'm com--" words were cut off as there was the sound of a thud and a crash of dishes? Falling to the floor and making more of a mess since he'd not touched the food on the dishes. If Will ever wanted to know what he himself might look like sprawled belly down in his boxers on the floor with fried rice specking his hair, now was the chance.
no subject
"Are you okay?"
no subject
" No." it was simple and to the point. " I just wanted to hold you a while." he's pretty wasted by the smell of the whiskey coming off him. " Now, I am all ricey."
no subject
"Want a bath? I can wash your hair for you."

So the one door that was closed while all the others were occupied or empty and open had him studying it for a bit. Choosing to press forward, he knocked on the molding and called out. "Anyone in this room? Hello?"
no subject
The door was opened and there was Kim, messy haired half cocked and face all squinty " What.." give him a minute here to process. Robes..long dark hair, OLD TIME CHINESE WIZARD MAN. His lips curled and this drunk bastard over here actually growled. " You have some mother fucking nerve coming around here."
no subject
As soon as he was snarled at, Cheng straightened and tilted his head so he could look down at the person toeing up to him, further implying that Kim would live longer if he backed down. "Do I? I would have to concede to you, young master. I do not have the nerve to be so... shit-faced and naked so early in the morning in my elder brother's house."
Snarl at the sect leader and he will snarl right back. The claws are still covered for the time being, but Cheng had no reason not to defend himself should it be necessary. Was it an insult to be so slovenly in an elder sibling's house? Probably. It probably did nothing to assuage any concern Kim may have about old-time Chinese wizards. But Cheng had his own pride, too and he wasn't going to kowtow in apology to this cur. He hadn't done anything wrong.

" I live here you uneducated dog. And after you hurt Riley like you did so carelessly you've got zero room for judging anyone at all"
He got that out before he suddenly was channeling a NFL line backer and running his shoulder right for JC's abdomen.
" Bastard!" he hissed.
no subject
"What are you talking about? I haven't hurt Riley."
He hates this part. Baby sitting drunks. Part of him is thrilled that Wangji gets to baby sit his brother, now.
