Over at Pete's in Yokohama, they had prepared a day to celebrate love. There were cute decorations about and the food tended to be served on heart shaped plates. More than that, they'd modified their menu to include the usuals but to also now have some special drinks for the week. Around the bar were little menus to let everyone know what these drinks were.

And what was the Cupid's Kiss? Why it was a little party popper filled with confetti that was made up of hearts and lips. A great way to celebrate with someone you loved whether it be friend or significant other. With the party going on for a week with the big party on Valentine's Day itself everyone was sure to have a great time and have their share of drug free booze to partake in.

And on the Day itself? The place would be packed. A food table with holiday treats could be found filled with all kinds of baked goods provided by The Bean Counter. Off to one side one could even play a little game of filling out a sheet to find out how well they knew their partner(s). Some of the questions were weird and some were expected. All part of the fun right? Anyone scoring higher than ten would get one free drink for the evening. Served in a giant glass to share with your loved ones, of course!

Ask the married couple who owns the bar and they might even be down to kiss each other for your eyes too. All in the name of love~

Cheng arrives in something reminiscent of his sect attire but more relaxed and with a watch of red to cover the opening the purple pleats left. It's not a holiday he's truly familiar with but if they were celebrating love, then it was a good thing to celebrate.

He comes up to the bar, offering a smile in greeting as he looks over the menu. "The place looks fantastic, as always. You all have outdone yourselves."

"Right?"

That voice was not any of the people who worked there though. No it was instead that of Riley who had popped up suddenly to give Cheng a kiss on the cheek. He had dressed himself cutely in a see through sweater over a black tank top and some tight pants. And to complete the outfit he'd made sure to ask Will to make him a flower crown to wear.

"They always do such a great job decorating for these things. It's so impressive! Also hi. You look so handsome!"

The fun part about Cheng was that he was not as hair-trigger reactive as the Mafia were. The kiss caught him by surprise, causing his ears to pinken, but he did not react dramatically. Instead, Cheng wound an arm around Riley's waist as he smiles, taking in how the Fae looks. "Hi. And you look handsome, too." Maybe more pretty than handsome? It didn't matter to him. What did matter was the beauty in the Fae's heart and that was what made him handsome even if the outward appearance was easy on the eyes, too. "I thought the Jins were party happy and then Kinn and his clan have outdone them ten times over. You brought Will here, too, yes?"

Will and Cheng's schedules hadn't quite synced up so easily as his and Riley's. And as much fun as he was having with Riley and getting to know him, he wanted to do the same with Will as well. They had a connection as well-more that they were both leaders and protectors of people, but it was still something that resonated with Cheng very much.

"Yeah. He wandered off while I was making ice flowers for people. Do you want one?"

Holding out his hand water formed there and soon shifted into the shape of a rose before freezing solid. This he presented to Cheng for inspection, smiling at him while he offered the little gift. It wasn't much but he'd thought it would be a pretty addition to the holiday.

As for Will, he wasn't worried about being parted from him. They'd find each other again eventually!

Cheng was utterly charmed by the magic and he carefully took the gift, feeling the smoothness of the ice. "Won't it melt quickly with the heat?"

With that thought, he held it carefully, waiting for the water to run into his hand.

"Not when I make them. Mine will last for hours. Though yours is special and will never melt."

Leaning in, he pointed to a little snowflake suspended inside of the petals of the rose. Hard to see until it was pointed out like now. "That's a bit of me in there so it'll never melt. Special for you."

Cheng peered at the inside of the rose and his eyes widened as Riley explained what it meant. His eyes lifted up and this time, not caring who was around, gently pressed his lips to Riley's cheek. That, for him, was a huge deal, regardless of what he had done in this place over the year and a half that he had been here.

"I will treasure it always." Now to find a spot to place it on his person so it was displayed proudly without risk of it dropping to the floor and shattering. His hair? It could be like a guan!

He gasped softly when he got the very, very, very public kiss. Yes it was just on the cheek but it was from Cheng! Touching the spot, he felt his cheeks warm with delight as the man held the flower that he'd created for him. Soon he was smiling brightly.

"Do you want me to help you put it on you somewhere? So you can wear it?"

Cheng nodded eagerly, handing the rose back. "In my hair? It won't be too heavy, you think? I was thinking of setting it up like a guan, that way it'll be safe."

Looking around, he picked the closest seat by them and sat, beaming at Riley in the process. The thought of having something of Riley on his person, twined in his hair had more meaning to him than he thought it originally would. It was almost like they braided their hair together. And that idea wouldn't leave his head, either.

"It shouldn't be. It's not that big. And I can alter the design to be more like a guan."

Getting on his knees on the chair, he shifted his magic to create a guan with a hair pin. Carefully, he adjusted it until it sat perfectly in Cheng's hair, held in place by the ice pin that he'd created. After a moment, he nodded his approval then sat on the chair properly now.

"There. Now it's perfect."

He hadn't been this excited for something like this in a very long time. It almost felt like the same excitement he had when he had received his first guan! Still beaming, he reached up to gently touch the piece and then reached out to take Riley's hands.

"Thank you. I will treasure it always."

To have a true water guan? No one else back home had something like this. And he was proud to have it.
