( open ) there ain't no party like a mafia party
⌛ Who: Those Thai mafia guys, adjacent CR, and anyone who just wants to crash a good time
⌛ What: Celebrating an elopement, Tay's survival of all that chaos in the Western Kingdom, and other things
⌛ When: Early November
⌛ Where: J. Random Bar or two or three
⌛ Warnings: will be added in threads as needed
Tay said drinks were on him when all that madness in the Western Kingdom was over. Vegas wasn't about to forget that. There was a lot to celebrate, after all! Vegas and Pete eloped, Tay survived, they were all reunited, they had some solid plans for the future. They may not be able to find a club in the way Tay would like, but if the night turned into a bar crawl, would any of them complain? Wherever they landed, Vegas was sure to be buying the most expensive drinks on the menu since he's not paying.
The place had music -- nothing like they're used to, but at least it had music. Which would make for an interesting night as the longer they're out and the more champagne Vegas drinks, the more likely he is to try to drag the others into dancing (especially Pete). It may not be what they're used to, but they can still have a good time, right?

He still nursed his drink, the only one he would have at this bar, just as he only had one drink at the first one.

However, one thing- one person- was missing! Stepping away from the stranger he'd been dancing with, he walks over and holds his hand out to Kinn. "Okay, that's enough! It's time to get your ass up and dance!"

When he finds them a good spot, he puts his arms comfortably on his friend's shoulders and starts moving his hips to the music. "I want to be seen dancing with the second most beautiful person in the room."

Reluctantly, he starts dancing, resting a hand on Tay's waist.

“What do you think about Vegas opening a bar?”

"He can do whatever he likes," Kinn responds before taking another sip of coffee. "Especially if it keeps him occupied and out of trouble."

Which reminded him..
"We need a pool like the doctor has and a sauna! Think you can add that to your 'needs' for the house?" He grins mischievously.

"I could see what can be done," Kinn assured Tay. A sauna...definitely a need especially if there's going to be more manual labor.

It seems simple to him, but he also hasn't been under the same oppression Vegas has. He just likes the idea of these things being collaborative.

His friends are nuts but he loves them.

"Normal people prefer a bed, night table, some picture frames, knick knacks."

If he could get one, why couldn't they?
"We also need space to hide things in case the police here ever search our house."

As much as he wanted all the nice shit they were used to having back home... this place was different. They needed to get the stuff that was nice for this time and place and go on from there. All the while looking like nice, legit business men.

It's true they didn't need to have somewhere that already had those things, but he is sure he can get a couple secret safes hidden in the walls and maybe even a panic room. After recent events, that could be very handy!
"But we don't need to worry about all that tonight. It's time to relax and let tomorrow deal with those problems."
no subject
"You will be the keeper of the hidden things, then," he announces playfully. Maybe he should have gotten a butter knife instead. To dub Tay 'Sir Keeper of the Hidden Things.' It would give him something to do here, that was for certain.

"You really know how to cheer a boy up!" Taking a sip, he looks at his friend's cup. "I was planning on getting you another drink, but you seem too popular for that. That is unless you want to be a classy two-fisted drinker tonight."
