Tay said drinks were on him when all that madness in the Western Kingdom was over. Vegas wasn't about to forget that. There was a lot to celebrate, after all! Vegas and Pete eloped, Tay survived, they were all reunited, they had some solid plans for the future. They may not be able to find a club in the way Tay would like, but if the night turned into a bar crawl, would any of them complain? Wherever they landed, Vegas was sure to be buying the most expensive drinks on the menu since he's not paying.

The place had music -- nothing like they're used to, but at least it had music. Which would make for an interesting night as the longer they're out and the more champagne Vegas drinks, the more likely he is to try to drag the others into dancing (especially Pete). It may not be what they're used to, but they can still have a good time, right?

It doesn't occur to him right away that Vegas is purposefully drinking champagne because of the price. Tay simply thinks it sounds good and so he orders it too!

Tonight, Tay is dressed in a pretty white lacy top and black pants that have been properly altered thanks to Gaura for his tail. The white gold jewelry he's wearing is all new with a little diamond stud and delicate chain in his black cat ear.

While he's a bit disappointed they couldn't come up with a dance club, the drinks, company, and fun makes him forget about it. It takes no effort for Vegas to convince him to get up and dance- maybe even drag someone along with him!

By the time they're at their second or third bar, Tay is happily drunk and dancing with his friends and total strangers alike.

Vegas had had one request about his outfit. So that was the one request that Pete had made sure to fulfill for this party. An outfit that would have a very low collar to allow for the diamond encrusted choker to show for all to see. To accomplish that he'd worn a yukata that was very loose in order to allow a good portion of his neck and chest to show. And on the ring finger of his left hand was his ring. People would easily notice that he choker matched the bracelet Vegas worse and the ring complimented the one on Vegas' hand. They belonged to each other and wanted the world to be aware of that fact.

Pete was more than happy to dance to whatever music was there and to consume far too much alcohol in the process. But it was a party and he should be having fun, right? Especially when he was one of the reasons that they were having the party! Sure he wasn't used to all the attention but a little bit couldn't hurt!

Just don't mind that Vegas was constantly near him. Or on top of him. Or with hands in his clothes. It was right where Pete wanted him to be. But one could still manage to catch him alone sometimes if they wanted a private chat!

Gaura had been confused at first when Tay had sent Henry on ahead without them. But he'd soon found out why when the man had done his hair, makeup, and jewelry as well as put him in an outfit that wasn't his typical style but well tailored to him for a change. He'd needed to do some quick tailoring for some wings that had just appeared but that hadn't been too much trouble. He truly had no idea what he looked like but Tay had reassured him repeatedly that Henry wouldn't be able to keep his hands off of him. Whether that was true or not (though he knew the wings would certainly be a surprise to Henry), he was at the party now and had a drink in his hand that he was nursing with a smile on his face.

He'd never been invited to parties before his place. Now he'd been to a couple of them. It was a lot of fun and even though he was wall flowering at the moment he was honestly truly enjoying himself. It was nice to see everyone having so much fun together. He couldn't help how warm it made his heart feel as he saw them all dancing and talking together. Sure it was challenging to tell who was who but that simply didn't matter right now.

He was happy.

Riley was now family for the mafia so of course he was invited. And he definitely came. With a big smile on his face as he chatted with everyone. He was dressed stylish but casual with just his jewelry to add some sparkle and spice to the outfit. Still, he looked great and he knew it, confidently being the ray of sunshine that he was with his blue fish scales around his hairline and his mermaid ears.

One thing that was important to note was that, despite the fact that they were at a bar, Riley was not allowed alcohol. No matter who it was there was apparently a rule that had been spread around before his arrival that he was not to have a drop of it. So instead he was handed sodas and juice all night. Something that made him happy anyway since they were sweet.

He was nursing another soda and humming to the song that was playing. Someone had given him candy and he was gladly snacking on that as he bounced to the music. But whoever came over to him was sure to get a smile and a wave from him. Because, yes, he was just as bubbly and sweet even when he was sober.

Kinn chose some old-timey gangster frock with sleeves rolled up, shirt half open but he forwent the cap tonight. His jewelry was gold and understated, oddly enough. A pocket watch with the line just peeking out in a lazy loop, a gold chain for his neck, and stud earrings. His muscles were barely contained in that shirt as he watched the floor, content to be in one corner and nursing a second shochu on the rocks, he wondered if this was how his security detail always felt.

Of course, whether or not he seemed approachable remained to be seen. He wasn't really going out of his way to schmooze, instead letting Vegas and Pete have the stage light, as it was their right, after all.

In some of his modern clothes, Cheng casually hangs around in the background, sipping whatever everyone else was drinking. Fizzy and alcoholic, his hair is in a single long braid thrown over his shoulder so he wouldn't worry about it too much. It's an interesting wedding celebration, he has to admit. None of the traditional celebrations he's attended back home were ever like this.
